Part 5: Rescue mission

Wilderness:

Jeremy walks up to the ground lizard. When he got closer, a few steps away from it. He unsheathed his katana blade.

Then he started to cover the blade with starlight energy. His actions alerted the ground lizard which was observing a moment ago.

The Ground Lizard set its gaze on the enemy. Its body is similar to Jeremy's height. But its strength can completely overwhelm the Beast Tamer and the Corrupted Beasts below Tier-2.

Charles' mouth curves into an arc. He wants to see the body of a newcomer flying back and then landing on the ground.

Sinag is looking at the scene. She knew what would happen next. Senior Charles would be disappointed. But she hopes that this won't trigger him more.

Ada is closely watching as well. She was surprised by the fact that Jeremy didn't use his Lifeline Beast. She hadn't seen someone fighting against corrupted beasts without the help of their lifeline beast.
