Damn lol, streak broken.

It seems weird to me how calm and collected I was before the world spiraled into chaos and debauchery after the pandemic lbvs.

At least it feels that way, you know?

A big part of me not wanting a kid as much as I wanted back then -outside of just getting older- is this: The weird and wild state of our modern world. 

I know that 36 is not "old" but fuck me man lol it is old enough!

How does this day find you?

I just made it to work and I figured I would check in on you.

I don't know why this just hit me (and you may or may not have thought about this sooner but)

You could read this in a sort of order.

Just follow the dates and you will be reading alongside me in time lol.

It's Thursday and 4:14 pm right now.

I wonder what time it is if you already thought about this? lol.

I need to invest in a car.

I am 29 and I have never owned a car of my own just yet.

-goes to show that we all tend to follow our own pace-

Never let the world -or anyone else- tell you what you should have and when...as long as you don't fall too far behind you will be just fine.

Dear You. 

I have always wanted to try shrooms.

But it takes a safe place, a stable mind, and a couple of good friends.

Lol.

At the least!

 Beware.

Always come to me (I don't know who your mom is, I can't see into the future so just come to me if you have questions. I don't know if future mom would be cool enough.)

-I did think that it would be cool if my kid -You- somehow managed to read along at the rate that this was written/posted, but several decades in the future lol. It would be cool to read some of this with You...if you exist.

I can lol.

-I still don't own a car. Honestly? I am pretty shitty at saving money lol. It's not like I just blow it on useless stuff, you know?

I do have bills and a cat lol.

But the little that I retain is spent on food and my smoking habit.

Maybe a video game here and there.

I live a simple life.

Paycheck to paycheck mind you lol

But a simple life nonetheless. 

I don't -and have never- minded being "broke" or going without, you know?

I grew up in poverty, and having little to nothing was just a part of my everyday life.

It wasn't nearly as bad as some have it and have had it historically, but growing up as 1 of 8 was not easy lol.

I digress.

My life works just fine without a car.

I have an electric scooter, and when winter rears her head, I just take the city bus.

I live a simple life.

My little studio, my cat, my small collection of belongings, my even smaller group of friends.

Simple.

I don't want or require much.

I wish more people were that way.

-As for that pace? To each their own! I am 36 and without a car, and that's okay.

Life is life is life.

Some of us have, and some of us don't.

I stopped being bitter or envious a while ago.

Life is both short and what we make of it.

I am sure that I will obtain a car when the Universe would have it be.

When I begin to need it more lol.

 l love them.
