CHAPTER 5: THE STRENGH OF THE POWERFULL

Deka is one of the six border towns of the Tukufu empire. The other towns include Kizushi, Centum, Dhamiri, Dimidum, and Ufadili. The border town of Deka neighbors the Kizushi town, which borders a vampire town and a werewolf village town. What separates them is not only the border walls but also the large, great forest that surrounds them, the Tamala forest.

The two towns have been in conflict for a while now, and Kizushi always comes on top and has taken care of their goblin and ogre infestation for a while. They're favored by not only their kingdom but the empire as well, when it comes to getting funds for them, especially considering the great battle of humans with the help of the mage empire and the fairies vs the demons.

Considering the corruption of the mayors of all the border towns, the one that Asani has to consider taking down is Mayor Henry Hopkins of Deka town, but he needs the help of the townsfolk and especially the help of the two noble houses, the Brandonson and the Sarama families.

For him to do that, Asani began to plan his next move, which involved assisting his father and the farming community. He also needed to have his adventurer license reinstated and to be unbanned from adventuring.

To achieve this, he returned to the adventure guild and wanted to get his license back. For that, he needed to sway the guild master of the adventure guild named Daniel Jankin, a tanned, blue-eyed man with brown hair and a brown beard. He is considered a womanizer who spends most of the guild's money on women and gambling and is at the thumb of the mayor.

Asani, in his previous life, is well aware of the character of Jankin, who is later found out for his crimes and his connection to not only the mayor but also the merchant company that betrayed Asani.

The next day, Asani arrived at the guild and went straight to the reception to ask for his license. One of the adventurers from Blue Crimson saw Asani and alerted Hudson, who was busy fooling around with two female adventurers. The moment he saw Asani, his blood was boiling, and he wanted to confront him, but then he was stopped by another adventurer named Aaron Hopkins, who is part of the crimsons and always felt sorry for Asani.

"Hudson, don't do something stupid or you will lose you're license," Aaron stated

"Oh fuck off, Hopkins that worm diseerves whats comming," Hudson responded

Hudson then pushes back Hopkins while his lackeys follow him. Then, one of the crimson members tells Aaron not to anger him as he has dirt on them that may ruin their life.

Meanwhile, at the reception desk, the receptionist then asked for Asani's name and information so that she could feed it to a magical orb. The orb then will scan if there is anything within its magical records that has anything to do with Asani. She then finds out that Asani's license was banned and that he can't go adventuring because of what he did in the past.

Asani then asks to talk to Jankin, which the receptionist declines, but Asani insists that he has very important information concerning the orge attacks that happened within Tamal forest, especially the attacks that took down a couple of Adventurers.

"H... how do you know about this?" The receptionist asked in bewilderment.

"I can't tell you that," Asani answered confidently, It will go against my server contract.

Just then, someone interrupts their conversation and another guild attendant, a male named Asafa Balozi who was a tall, well-built man with dark hair and light ebony skin, wearing one gold earring on his right year. He had sharp brown eyes with a glare that could kill an elephant.

"It's okay, Alice. I will take it from here," Asafa said with a cold smile while resting his muscular hands on her shoulder.

" Oh, Mr Balozi, the gentleman wanted to see Mr Jankin," Alice stated nervously.

"Not to worry, I will deal with him, why don't go take care of the crimson needs," Asafa stated with shiverers tone.

The receptionist then went upstairs to the VIP section where the criminals were sitting. Asafa then pointed his dangerously sharp gaze at Asani but was taken aback when Asani returned the gaze.

Asafa could feel the Aura present in Asani, and he couldn't believe that drastic change. Asani noticed Asafa's shock and wore an evil smile that made Asafa take one slight step, which had never happened before.

"Ooi, Asafa, you sly snake, why so mean to your staff? You should respect them a little more." Asani stated with a cold but gleeful smile.

"It looks like the worm wants to grow up into a little wyvern," Asafa stated with a condescending tone, You should leave this fine establishment before I kick you out.

"Hey, don't be like that, Asafa. I just wanted to talk to the boss. Is that too much to ask?" Asani answered in an even more conniving tone.

"LIVE NOW BEFORE I FEED YOU'RE CARCAS TO THE PIGS," Asafa shouted with rage.

Before Asafa could do anything to Asani, Asani pulled a tooth from his coat pocket that belonged to an orge; he then showed it to Asafa discreetly. Their conversation is then interrupted when Hudson appears with the crimson. Asafa, realizing what Asani has, tries to stop Hudson, who is fuming with rage.

He then leaps forward to attack Asani with his small sword, but Asani sees it and moves out of Hudson's field of view so quickly and disarms Hudson. Before Hudson could react, Asani took him down with a Judo throw on the ground. Hudson then finds himself on the ground. This shocks everyone, including Asafa. No server can easily disarm an adventure much less someone like Hudson considering his rank as an adventurer.

"What! Impossible, how did he do that so effortlessly," Asafa thought while in shocked stated, and that speed is someone of a Domnus rank.

"Yo, Hudson, been a while. Could you wait for your turn at the corner there? I have some business to take care of," Asani stated gleefully.

Before Hudson could even recover and take another swing at Asani. Asafa immediately stopped the fight by stepping between them. He then warned Hudson that if he attacked Asani again, he would be banished from the guild. As the rules of the guild dictate, no fighting inside or within the guild's ground. Hudson was given a warning, and if he repeats it. His license will be revoked.

Asafa then took Asani to Jankin's office, where Jankin was busy fraternizing with a new female staff member. And she was uncomfortable with Jankin and his sleezy hands, inappropriately touching her.

"Boss, we have a problem, and you woman need to leave right now," Asafa commanded as the woman immediately left the office.

"There better be a reason as to why you interrupted my lunch, Asafa," Jankin stated angrily.

"Someone here has news about the Orge campaign that happened several weeks ago," Asafa stated urgently.

"And who is this person you speak of?" Jankin questioned

"What's up, Jankin? how's Debachaury been treating you lately?" Asani said casually.

Jankin saw that it was Asani, and he was pleased. He decided to chase him out of his office, but Asafa stopped him and told him that he needed to hear about the information he had on the orge campaign.

Jankin reluctantly agreed, and Asani then explained that the orges were three war orgres that were quite dangerous if left unchecked. He also mentioned that the reason the campaign failed was because of Jankin's impatience in not letting the scout team research further; they would have avoided causualities.

He then told them that the best way to defeat the war was to acquire the powerful fire gemstone Rubinus, which was hidden within a dungeon within the Tamal forest. For them to get there, Asani asked for his license to be reinstated and for him to officially become an adventurer.

"You think you can walk in here and make demands?" Jankin asked in a commanding voice.

Asani then approached Jankin's desk and then took out a magical dagger from his pocket dimension and held it against his throat. He was so quick that Asafa was shocked, but he reacted quickly and cast a magic spell where he conjured up a bow and arrow and pointed it at Asani, ready to strike, but was told to stop by Jankin.

"Hey Jankin you old shitbag, I'm not the scared kid you onced knew," Asani threated with an angry tone, you better unban my licence and do it fast.

"Move one more inch, Asani, and I will strike you where you stand," Asafa stated with a commanding tone.

E..ENOUGH! Enough already. Asafa, put your bow down, and Asani, let's talk.

After a few minutes, the tension subsided, and Asani was told he could get his license back. He then asked for a reevaluation and wanted to change his adventurer class from server to warrior so that he could start adventuring.

Jankan told him he would only do that if he stopped the war orges and gave out the information for the new dunguon where he would find the rubinus gemstone. Asani then asks that the agreement be made in a magical blood contract. Jankin was hesitant but agreed and they decided to make a blood contract.

Asani then leaves Jankin's office. Jankin then gets angry at the humiliation. He then ordered Asafa to tail Asani in his expedition to find the gemstone and once he finds it, he should kill Asani and any witness that has seen or knows the location of the Gemstone.
