"More are coming, Master," Selene's soft, eerie voice echoed in Kai's mind. "They're not strong, but their numbers make them dangerous."
"Understood," Kai replied. His gaze was sharp, calculating. "Focus on controlling the field. Slow them down, and leave the rest to Yami and Nyx."
Selene's eight eyes blinked once in unison, her body vanishing into the canopy above. Her web continued to grow, covering the field in a shimmering maze of death.
"Yami, clear them out," Kai commanded.
The colossal form of Yamata no Orochi coiled and surged forward, her eight heads releasing a unified roar that shook the battlefield. Her venomous breath rolled across the front line like a poisonous mist, melting armor and flesh alike. Screams echoed as weaker beasts fell, writhing in agony.
"Burn them away," Yami's voice echoed, her tone cold and predatory. Her serpentine body moved with terrifying grace, crushing beasts beneath her coiling mass. Each of her eight heads snapped at different targets, tearing apart the enemies like they were mere toys.
"Nyx," Kai called, his voice calm but commanding.
Nyx stepped forward with serene grace, her silver hair flowing like silk. The glow of silver light surrounded her, and her eyes turned into twin golden flames. She raised her hand slowly, and above her, the sky darkened unnaturally.
"Lunar Manipulation: Eclipse Fury," Nyx intoned. Her voice was as still and heavy as the night.
A glowing silver crescent appeared in the sky, casting an eerie twilight over the battlefield. Beasts froze, confused by the sudden shift in light. Then, the crescent fell like a scythe, cleaving through rows of enemies in a single stroke. Beasts were sliced cleanly in half, their corpses collapsing in silence.

"Monsters..." one soldier whispered, his voice trembling.
"Monsters on our side," Ryo corrected with a wide grin as he slashed down another beast. He glanced at Kai. "Remind me never to be your enemy, Warden."

Her Panther purred as it dragged a beast down by the throat. Elara's gaze never left Kai.

"Finally," Yami hissed, her serpentine grin wide. Her eight heads stared at the beast with hunger. "I was getting bored."
Kai raised his hand. "No. This one's mine."
The soldiers glanced at him as if he'd gone mad.
"You serious, Warden?" Ryo shouted, slashing a lesser beast apart. "That thing's an Alpha!"
Kai's eyes didn't waver. His shadow stretched unnaturally behind him.
He opened the system menu. Battle Enhancement: Activate.

"Yami," Kai said.

Yami's body shifted, her purple scales darkening as an intense glow filled her eyes. Her aura grew wild and predatory, like a storm about to break.
