Chapter 120: Blade Lord, Sword Saint, Axe Emperor

Chapter 120: Blade Lord, Sword Saint, Axe Emperor

"You knocked me over! I need a pretty lady to help me up!"

The old man sat on the ground, clutching his leg, shouting at Sig and Stussy.

Sig was momentarily stunned. He hadn't felt any physical contact with the old man.

"Hey, old man, what are you trying to pull? Trying to scam our boss?"

"Haha, you're not very good at this, are you? You didn't even touch our boss's shoulder."

Several of Sig's subordinates immediately stepped forward, surrounding the old man who was sitting on the ground.

They were mountain bandits, and their appearances were naturally fierce and intimidating. The old man trembled in fear.

"I... I'm not trying to extort money. How can this be called a scam?"

The old man shrank back, trying to defend himself.

Sig, aiming to keep a low profile, hadn't brought many subordinates with him and had told them not to stay too close. As a result, the old man hadn't realized that Sig and these men were together.

Just as the old man was starting to regret his actions, Sig pushed through his subordinates and stepped forward:

"Ah, it was indeed my carelessness that caused you to fall."

"Old sir, do you want her to help you up?"

Sig pointed at Stussy beside him, a smile on his face.

The old man glanced at Sig and the mountain bandits, hesitated for a moment, and then nodded.

"How could that be enough to express my apology?"

Sig said with a serious expression, pointing at Stussy as he introduced her:

"This is our cleaning lady."

"To make up for my mistake, why don't we have her come to your house and do your chores for a month?"

Sig casually made up an excuse to send Stussy away.

"Cleaning... cleaning lady?" The old man looked at the radiant Stussy, momentarily stunned.

"Yes," Sig nodded, then turned to Stussy:

"Stussy, as of today, you're fired. Go greet your new employer."

"Huh?"

Upon hearing this, Stussy's expression instantly turned tearful.

"Mr. Sig, are you finding an excuse to send me away?"

Sig took half a step back, warily watching Stussy.

Every time he saw this woman act, he couldn't help but feel a chill run down his spine, his skin prickling with goosebumps.

Just as Sig was about to speak, a voice suddenly called out from the side:

"Stop!"

"We can't just stand by and watch you bully an old man and a woman!"

Two righteous voices rang out.

Sig looked over and saw two young men, around seventeen or eighteen years old, running over.

When Sig looked their way, the two of them consciously stopped and struck a pose.

The one on the left wore sunglasses, had short hair, and had a tattoo of the character "海" (sea) on his left cheek. He had one hand resting on his waist and the other holding his chin.

The one on the right wore a green overcoat that reached past his knees, but his lower half was clad only in shorts, revealing a leg full of hair. His pose mirrored the sunglasses-wearing man on the left, except he held a cigarette between his fingers.

"I'm the bounty hunter Johnny," the sunglasses-wearing man said.

"I'm Yosaku," the hairy-legged man added.

Johnny and Yosaku shouted together:

"We're the bounty hunter duo of the East Blue. If you don't stop, we'll..."

The mountain bandits sneered, and several of them immediately stepped forward.

"What will you do?"

One of the bandits asked with a cold laugh, cracking his knuckles.

Although the two had struck an intimidating pose and indeed carried swords at their waists, their builds were rather thin, and they didn't look like strong fighters at all.

The mountain bandits, having followed Sig all the way to Loguetown, had seen their fair share of things and weren't intimidated by these two self-proclaimed bounty hunters.

Johnny and Yosaku's faces immediately paled.

"We'll... report you to the Navy in Loguetown!"

The mountain bandits exchanged glances and couldn't help but laugh.

However, Sig raised his hand, signaling his subordinates to step back, and looked at the two bounty hunters with interest.

He, of course, recognized these two.

Yosaku, the Sword Lord!

Johnny, the Blade Saint!

Peerless warriors standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Axe-Hand Morgan.

Ten years later, when they witnessed Zoro's defeat at the hands of Hawk-Eye and saw him being treated as weak, Yosaku, the Sword Lord, was filled with righteous fury and shouted the words that would shake the world:

"Luffy, hold me back. Otherwise, I'll kill Hawk-Eye!"

Sig had been worried about his earlier encounter with Hawk-Eye at sea, but when he saw Yosaku, the Sword Lord, and Johnny, the Blade Saint, make their appearance, he knew...

This was in the bag.

If he could draw a card similar to Morgan's, even Hawk-Eye would be nothing!

"So it's Yosaku, the Sword Lord, and Johnny, the Blade Saint," Sig said with a faint smile as he stepped forward to chat.

"The Sword... Sword Lord?"

"The Blade Saint?"

Johnny and Yosaku first looked confused, then surprised, and finally delighted.

It was quite amusing.

"Have we finally made a name for ourselves? Sword Lord and Blade Saint—such impressive titles!"

"People already recognize us?"

"Mom, I'm finally famous!"

The two of them immediately forgot about Sig, laughing and jumping around with their arms around each other's shoulders.

After a while, they finally snapped out of their excitement and looked at Sig with some embarrassment.

Yosaku, the hairy-legged man, coughed lightly and tried to act reserved:

"Even though you recognize us, we still can't just ignore this..."

Yosaku stopped mid-sentence, his expression suddenly changing.

He quickly reached into his pocket, pulled out a stack of bounty posters, and began flipping through them. His hands started to tremble.

"You... you... you..."

"What's wrong, Yosaku?" Johnny leaned over to look, and his face immediately turned pale.

He pointed at Sig and shouted in terror:

"You're the Mountain Bandit King of the East Blue..."

Sig's expression changed. He hadn't expected these two greenhorns to blurt out his identity in public. He immediately growled:

"Stop them!"

Before the words had fully left his mouth, a burly figure appeared behind Johnny and Yosaku, swinging the flat side of an axe at the back of their heads.

With two dull thuds, the two bounty hunters blacked out and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Sig was momentarily stunned. The one who had attacked Johnny and Yosaku was none other than Morgan.

At this moment, Morgan stood behind the two men, holding his axe, a faint smile on his face.

"Heh heh..."

Sig was taken aback. He hadn't noticed when Morgan had moved behind Johnny and Yosaku.

"Morgan, why did you do that?" The other mountain bandits were also surprised.

Although Morgan had joined their group, he had been withdrawn for a long time. His sudden action shocked even the bandits who had been with him day and night.

Hearing this, Morgan, who had been chuckling, suddenly looked confused, and the axe in his hand fell to the ground.

"I... I don't know..."
