It was like nothing happened here in Neverport. When the fog dissipated, the residents just carried on with their lives as usual. Totally unharmed and seemingly unaware of what transpired two hours ago.
After agreeing to discuss it further tomorrow, Becca and Axel went off to do their own thing.
By the beach, Axel trained his developing soldier in a variety of ways. He was aware that a battle was approaching and that he needed to get them ready.
At Becca's request, CJ and Philly were present, but like the majority of them, they were unable to keep up with Axel's rigorous training.
"It seems that I misjudged the two of you. Take a rest." Axel's eyes were glaring at Cj and Philly.
He approached the exhausted two who were on the ground and said, "The two of you are the Queen's personal guards but can barely keep up with the top three in the military. You two will be relieved of that role if I do not see any improvement." With his back to them, Axel made his way back to the fighting circle.
CJ yelled, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" WE-" but was immediately silent by Axel bright blue glare, "You only got the position because of your relationship with her despite lacking the ability to defend her. You have five weeks to make an impression on me, or I will replace you. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!" He said drawing his swords.
While Axel was instructing his men, Becca was practicing her magic in the presence room.
Casting spiral balls made out of water in jar containers while Emily and her friends watch and rate the distance.
"Looks like this one is pretty far." Emily said with a smile on her face while her friends gaped.
Becca's magic essence were depleted and needed to be replenished, "The distance isn't the issue, it's the size I want to work on." She said looking at her ring.
Emily's friends suddenly splashed Becca with water, "We got her." Emily is immediately soaked after they splash her with water.
While the friends were celebrating, they noticed the unhappy red hair girls, Emily said, "Mom, I believe these boys have not washed in days." Emily grabs a jar of water with a creepy smirk.
Glaring at them, Becca followed suit, saying, "You right, those shirts are looking dirty." with the same smirk as her daughter.
The two boys were shaking but couldn't escape the onslaught of water being thrown at them.
