*3rd POV
"So, my dad used to play Georgie's songs all the time. He'd say, 'If you marry this guy, I'll approve 150% of your marriage,'" Penny said, laughing as she chatted with Missy.
Missy smiled awkwardly. "…So what every girl says." she mumbled, though Penny caught it.
Penny's laughter faded as her curiosity returned. "…So, where is he?" she asked, her tone serious now, her eyes narrowing at Missy.
Missy sighed. She wasn't going to answer, not after Penny had asked this same question at least 50 times. "You're not going to give up, huh? For the last time, I don't know where he is!" Missy snapped, a hint of frustration in her voice.
"But I thought we were like sisters! We shop together, get our nails done together…" Penny gave Missy a hurt look. "I see you as my big sister!"
Missy stared at Penny, her expression skeptical. "…The last time I called someone 'sister' they ended up sleeping with my brother."
Penny's jaw dropped, and she quickly turned her gaze elsewhere, covering her mouth. Missy snorted and walked into Sheldon's apartment, where she found a group of nerdy guys wrestling on the floor.
She glanced toward the couch, where Sheldon sat deep in thought, ignoring the chaos.
"What is going on?" Missy asked, her voice cutting through the noise.
Sheldon looked up at her, his expression unchanged. "It's your fault." he said curtly before turning back to his pondering.
"What?" Missy began to respond but was interrupted by Rajesh stepping in front of her.
"Hello, gorgeous." Rajesh said with a flirtatious smile.
Before Howard could react with a disapproving glare, BAM.
Rajesh hit the floor, groaning as Rebecca twisted his arm in a lock. "OW OW OW OW!" Rajesh yelped, tapping Rebecca's arm for mercy.
"Rebecca." Sheldon said in a calm but steady voice. Rebecca released Rajesh and stood up quickly.
Missy raised an eyebrow. "Wow." Penny, still near the door, chimed in. "I can't believe you slammed down 160-pound Rajesh like that!"
Rajesh, still wincing, corrected her. "Hey, it's 150 pounds…" before quickly hiding behind Howard and Leonard again.
"Rebecca, go apologize to Rajesh." Sheldon said, standing up and staring at Rebecca.
Missy smirked, sensing an opportunity to tease him. "I'm sorry, what?"
Sheldon frowned. "She can't just go around slamming people like that."
Rebecca opened her mouth to respond, but Missy cut in again, "I'm sorry, what?"
Sheldon sighed, frustrated. "She can't—"
"It's okay, mam." Rebecca interjected, her tone apologetic but firm. She turned to Rajesh. "I'm sorry, Mr. Koothrappali. But if you or your friends try anything disrespectful toward Miss Cooper…" Her eyes narrowed at the three men huddling together.
"…I'm sorry too." Rajesh quickly blurted out.
The awkward tension lingered for a moment before Penny broke it. "Alright… who's ready for Chinese food?" she asked, bringing the takeout bags to the table.
"Is it chicken with broccoli diced, not shredded?" Sheldon asked.
"Yes." Rebecca replied.
"Even though the menu—" Sheldon started, but Missy interrupted, "Eat."
Sheldon gave her a pointed look but didn't argue. "I just want everything done properly." he muttered, sitting down and grabbing his food.
"Yes, Mr. Cooper." Rebecca said, carefully unpacking the takeout.
Howard, Leonard, and Rajesh exchanged uneasy glances, particularly Howard, who was now wary of Rebecca after seeing what she'd done to Rajesh.
"Uh… sorry about my friend." Leonard said, trying to ease the tension. "He's, uh… undergoing an experimental treatment."
"Yes, I am sorry for that" Raj nodded but kept nodding even after he say that.
Missy's interest piqued. "Experimental treatment?"
Leonard hesitated. "Yeah, it's helping him… but, uh, there are some side effects."
Missy watched Rajesh, who kept nodding uncontrollably even after finishing his sentence. Howard finally grabbed Rajesh's head to stop him.
"…So it still has side effects?" Missy asked, her curiosity waning.
"Yes…" Rajesh muttered sheepishly.
Missy leaned back. "Alright. And about what Rebecca did—sorry, but she's just doing her job protecting me. My big brother's always been very protective of me." She smirked at Sheldon.
"…It's because you're a queen—" Sheldon started, but Missy cut him off.
"What was that?" she asked, her challenging smile daring him to continue.
Sheldon fell silent.
"I didn't know Sheldon could stop talking." Howard muttered, trying not to laugh.
"Oh, he can, especially when my big brother's involved." Missy replied, grinning as she dug into her food.
"When Sheldon first started school, my big brother told him off for judging the teachers. He told Sheldon to respect them, even if they were wrong."
"Really?" Penny asked, her curiosity reignited. She leaned closer. "What happened to him?"
Missy rolled her eyes. "Girl, stop wetting yourself over my big brother."
She knew Penny's interest in Georgie was only growing—and she had a feeling that if Georgie met Penny, the feeling might be mutual. Probably.
"…I'm sorry, what?" Leonard asked, startled by Missy's casual remark. Though her words were meant as a joke, Leonard didn't take them lightly and felt a bit threatened, even though he flirt with missy too.
"Pfftt... Relax, he's not going to like her." Sheldon interjected, his voice matter-of-fact. "My big brother likes women who…" He trailed off, glancing at Penny and recalling Georgie's preferences. "..." Sheldon paused again, narrowing his eyes at Penny, who tilted her head slightly, puzzled.
"What?!" Penny exclaimed, frustrated. "What kind of woman does Georgie like?" she demanded, blurting out the name.
Silence fell over the room like a heavy blanket.
Realizing she'd said Georgie's name aloud, Penny quickly covered her mouth, glancing nervously at Leonard and the others. "Safe…" she muttered, trying to downplay the slip.
"Who is Georgie?" Leonard asked, clearly not ready to let the topic go.
"…His brother." Penny answered reluctantly. "She told me about his cowboy brother… Ugh, stop looking at me like that! I was just curious when she mentioned him." Penny shot back, noticing Leonard's furrowed brows and his puppy-dog expression, as if he were on the verge of tears.
"…I could be a cowboy… for you." Leonard mumbled meekly.
Howard snorted, giving Leonard a sharp look. "Dude, you are so whipped."
Sheldon remained quiet, focusing on his food. He'd learned the hard way that it was better not to comment on Georgie when Missy was around.
As the conversation carried on, Rebecca received a phone call. She excused herself to answer, stepping aside but staying within Missy's view.
"Are you not going to tell me?" Penny turned her attention back to Missy after some idle chatter with Leonard.
"No." Missy replied with a sly smile that made Penny groan in frustration.
"I hate you." Penny grumbled, though her tone was lighthearted.
"Mam…" Rebecca approached Missy, speaking in a low, deliberate tone. "…Code Blonde. Safe house."
The room grew quieter as everyone strained to hear Rebecca's words, but she spoke so softly that only Missy could catch the full meaning.
Missy's expression darkened slightly as she sighed, clearly displeased. "Well, looks like I can't stay too long." she said with a forced smile.
"Aww…" Leonard, Howard, Rajesh, and Penny groaned in unison, their disappointment palpable. Penny, however, couldn't help herself. "What is she talking about? Is it Georgie?"
"No." Missy replied curtly. She turned to Sheldon, her expression softening. "Well, Shelly, I hope you're happy… Our brother's proud of you, too."
"I am." Sheldon confirmed, his voice steady, though he avoided eye contact. "Say thanks to him."
"I will." Missy stood, her demeanor composed as she glanced back at Rajesh. "Once again, I apologize for Rebecca's actions. I hope you'll all continue being friends with Sheldon. He doesn't have many, and my brother's happy to see how he's doing now."
The remark made Sheldon bristle. "Now?!" he repeated, looking at Missy and Rebecca, both of whom smirked knowingly.
"Goodbye, y'all." Missy said, ignoring Sheldon's outburst as she headed for the door with Rebecca.
Just as they exited, Missy's voice boomed from outside, "WHAT IS HE DOING?!" The sheer volume startled everyone in Apartment 4A, leaving them momentarily frozen.
Rajesh broke the silence first. "That was… quite intense." he said, rubbing his shoulder gingerly.
"…You should be grateful she didn't dislocate it." Sheldon commented dryly, earning glares from everyone in the room. "Oh, believe me, she could do it easily." he added with conviction.
"Yeah, right." Penny cut in, turning to Sheldon with an accusatory look. "Now tell me—why didn't you tell me you were Shelly?!"
"Ugh… Don't call me that." Sheldon groaned, visibly irritated. "Only my mom, sister, and brother call me that."
"But you are Shelly! And you didn't tell me!" Penny fired back, her tone sharp.
Howard raised a hand, cutting into their spat. "Alright, someone explain this Georgie Cooper guy!"
"I Googled it." Leonard announced, pulling out his iPhone and typing rapidly. Several search results popped up, and he began reading through them.
"…Oh my…" Leonard's face went pale as he scanned the articles. He kept alternating between the screen and Sheldon, his expression growing increasingly incredulous.
"WHAT?!" Leonard finally shouted, startling everyone.
"WHAT?!" Howard and Rajesh echoed, thoroughly confused.
Penny rolled her eyes. "Ugh, I know that feeling." she muttered, crossing her arms as Sheldon grumbled in frustration.
"You're the brother of George Cooper Jr.?!" Leonard exclaimed, staring at Sheldon in disbelief.
"Who?" Penny asked, blinking in confusion. To her, Georgie and George were two entirely different people.
