Fenley's POV
He said it so easily. He said he was just enjoying my body… but why?
Why did I accept it?
He literally said he wouldn't commit to me… why did I accept it?
I already knew we were just fooling around… but why did I accept it?
Is there something wrong with me? I am an adult… but why does my heart… want him so badly?
I watched him get out of the car, "Thanks for the ride." Georgie said to me.
"Georgie!" I called out to him and caught his attention.
"Yeah?"
"Come here." I said. Georgie walked around my car and stood beside the door. I grabbed his shirt and kissed him again. I didn't care if anyone saw us; I just wanted to kiss him again.
Georgie accepted my kiss and kissed me back. After a few seconds, I broke the kiss. "Alright…"
"…My little teacher is a pervert." Georgie said with a smirk on his lips. But hearing that… I didn't know why, but I liked it.
"I'm not your teacher anymore." I said, trying to glare at him. But he just chuckled, "Of course…" That was all he said before leaving me.
I watched him walk toward the house where the party was being held, not turning back, strolling casually.
"…Hufftt." I sighed, my feelings in turmoil. I didn't know what to do. Should I continue with this?.
I wanted to say 'No' loudly, but… a part of me wanted to say 'Yes.'
I don't know.
I watched him again. He greeted people there without even glancing in my direction and walked into the house.
Damn it. I slammed my steering wheel, trying to release my emotions. Without looking back at him again, I drove off and returned to the office.

3rd POV
"Hello, Brian…" Georgie's voice reached Brian's ears. He looked at Brian with a smile that didn't feel warm to anybody who watch him.
"Georgie…"
"You're here!" Veronica said and hugged Georgie. She wrapped her arm around Georgie's shoulder and kissed his cheek in front of Brian.
"Of course." Georgie said and kissed her too.
"Hoo…" The other students murmured after seeing their closeness. Brian's face turned grim, but he sighed. He watched their interaction and realized Veronica was no longer available. Silently, he walked away from them.
"Stop it." Veronica said after noticing Georgie still glancing at Brian. "He's not worth it."
"I know." Georgie replied with a smile. "Sorry I'm late; I had a long session at the studio." He sighed, his tired face visible to Veronica.
"It's okay, as long as you're here now." Veronica said, guiding him to grab a drink.
"Hi, Georgie!" A girl's voice called out from behind them.
"Oh, hey?" Georgie replied, not recognizing her.
"Lisa, from English class." Lisa reintroduced herself. Veronica, standing beside Georgie, glared at the girl, "Oh, Lisa. Yeah, I know you. What's up?" It was Veronica who answered.
"I'm not talking to you." Lisa said, glaring at Veronica.
"Sorry, but my boyfriend isn't going to talk to you now." Veronica said, pulling Georgie away.
Georgie simply shrugged his shoulders at Lisa, apologizing with his eyes.
He smiled and glanced at Veronica who take him away from the girl, "Boyfriend, huh?" Georgie said and chuckling.
"Shut up… I have to protect you from these women." Veronica whispered, blushing.
"Alright, my beautiful bodyguard…" Georgie replied, laughing.
"Why didn't you leave your guitar at the studio?" Veronica asked after noticing the guitar slung over his back.
"Oh… this is my guitar. A gift from Miss Fenley." Georgie said.
Veronica nodded, not letting go of his hand and holding it tightly. They got their drinks. "Are you having fun here?" Georgie asked Veronica. Veronica nodded.
"Ugh… this drink's been spiked." Veronica said, spitting her drink back into the cup.
"Really?" Georgie said, trying it. "Yeah… alcohol…" He set the cup on the table, and Veronica did the same.
"I drank this earlier, but there wasn't any alcohol before…" Veronica said.
"Alright… we're just going to… enjoy the moment…" Georgie said, looking around.
"..." Veronica also looked around, then turned back to Georgie. "…You wanna come outside?"
"Oh God, yes." Georgie replied immediately.

3rd POV – In George and Mary's Bedroom
The music from the party could be heard even in their bedroom.
"I hope that doesn't wake up the kids." Mary said, watching George as he took off his shoes and socks.
"Hufft… should I go over and say something?" George sighed, trying to bluff. But Mary took his words seriously.
"I think you should."
"….." George looked at Mary. "I was bluffing… please don't make me put my socks back on…"
Mary rolled her eyes and lay on the bed. "…Never mind."
George looked at his wife, who seemed slightly annoyed. "…I got a notice from Georgie and Sheldon's teacher.…"
"What? What happened?" This caught Mary's attention, making her focus entirely on him.
"Well… she said Georgie didn't attend class, and Sheldon told her Georgie was sick and needed to rest." George said as he lay down on the bed.
"...Why didn't you tell me? Is he okay?" Mary asked, looking at George with worry. Her son was sick, and no one informed her—what kind of mother was she? Even though Georgie seemed more mature than before, he was still her child.
"It's alright. I didn't tell you because I knew his condition… Well, apparently, he looked really tired and fell asleep in the library storage closet." George explained, trying to ease Mary's concern.
"Why didn't he go to the nurse's office?" Mary asked again.
"Well… he didn't sleep alone. Veronica was beside him…. I know what you're thinking, but nothing happened there. I saw them sleeping peacefully. Heck, I even waited for him to come out of that room." George said, looking at Mary. "I think… he likes that girl. And she likes him back."
"..." Mary rolled her eyes. Her concern had turned into gossip for George. "Well, I'm just glad Georgie is alright…" she said, turning over.
"..." George pouted as their conversation was cut off by Mary. He lay down and turned off the lights. "Goodnight…" he said, closing his eyes.
"...Did you see Georgie at home today?" Mary asked, making George open his eyes again.
"Huh… Maybe he's still at the studio…"
"....." Mary turned to George with an annoyed look.
"…Fine, I'll call them…" George said, getting up from the bed. "...You're making me put my socks back on…"
"Go!"

3rd POV
"I'm just dropping you off, alright?" Sheldon said as Missy nodded her head. They arrived at the house's front door. Before Sheldon rang the bell, he looked at Missy's outfit.
"Why are you wearing that?"
Missy was dressed as an angel, complete with wings and a purple dress, but she paired it with boots.
"It makes me look older." Missy replied, shrugging her shoulders and ignoring Sheldon's disapproving look.
Sheldon pressed the doorbell.
"Hey! Sheldon's here!" a chubby student, whom Sheldon recognized as a football player, opened the door and yelled to the crowd inside.
"YEAH!!" they cheered as the chubby student lifted Sheldon into the air.
"What are you doing!!"
"Missy! What are you doing here?!" Tam's voice came from the crowd as he spotted Missy at the door.
"I want to go to the party too!" Missy replied, ignoring Tam.
"..." Tam, who had been talking to some girls, apologized to them. "Sorry, I have to watch over her."
"Who is she? Your sister? Or your girlfriend?" one of the girls asked, looking at Missy, who was boldly attending the party despite her young age. Of course what she said is sarcasm.
"She's cute!" another girl said, admiring Missy's dress.
"...Yeah, she's Georgie's little sister and Sheldon's twin sister…" Tam replied. "Sorry, gotta go." he added, noticing Missy heading toward the dance floor.
"Oh wow! She's Georgie's little sister? I'm gonna go talk to her!" another girl said, rushing to Missy after learning who she was.
"...I'm gonna get punched by Georgie…" Tam muttered. "Missy, let's go home!"
"No!" Missy said, dancing with the other girls.
"Damn it…" Tam said, watching Sheldon busy yelling in the crowd. "I'm gonna find Georgie…"
"LET ME DOWN!!"

Georgie's POV
I was looking at the stars in the sky. In 1989, the air here was still fresh, and the stars were still visible. Unlike in the future, where pollution had taken over the skies.
"....." Veronica was lying next to me in the backyard of the party house.
"...Have you ever thought the moon looks too close to us? Or maybe it looks bigger?" Veronica asked, pointing at the moon.
"What? Do you think it's snooping on us right now?" I replied with a smile.
Veronica looked at me and chuckled. "Hehe, it's not like that." She looked back at the sky. "I just like the moon up there, like it's always watching over us."
"Now he's a stalker, huh?" I said, making Veronica laugh. "Alright… what you're seeing is just an illusion. It's the moonrise effect. Our eyes make it look bigger when it's near the horizon." I explained.
Veronica sat up and looked at me, smirking. "I was just talking about the moon, and you're giving me an astronomy lesson… You're not that romantic, huh, Georgie!" she said, laughing.
I looked at her as she laughed softly. Sitting up beside her, I gazed into her eyes.
"You want me to be romantic for you?"
"..."
