Chapter 119: Coleshire

"Are you leaving so soon?"

Sophia Riley held her younger sister's hand, feeling reluctant to let go. Even though she had long known that this day would come, she still couldn't remain calm at the actual moment of parting.

Having lived here for so many years, Lina Riley realized she didn't have much to pack. Perhaps what she was truly taking with her were the memories—though not all of them were pleasant.

Lina patted her sister's hand in comfort and said, "Sophia, if you miss me, you can come to Coleshire and find me. And I'll return next year when the roses bloom."

She still remembered the roses that The Princess Royal had planted for her. Although the princess had planted more in Coleshire, Lina felt they were different. She often wondered what the princess had been thinking when she planted them—had she been thinking of her?
