So Damien could be trusted. At least to some extent.

Of course, that didn't mean Lane was going to reveal everything to the man… After all, while Damien might not have reported him so far, who knows what he would do if he found out the whole truth? There was a big difference between possessing someone else's body after dying and what Lane was actually doing…

But perhaps admitting just to the fact that he was 'Evan' would be okay.

He didn't HAVE to do that though. Now that he knew Damien wouldn't rat him out so easily out of fear he might disappear, he could just continue to play dumb and keep the man in the state of uncertainty…
