On the third day in this world, Yasuo was starting to get worried. He was ignoring all of the texts and calls from his friends asking him if he wanted to hang out.

To be honest, these weren't even real friends; they only hung around him because they were scared of him and they wanted to take advantage of his wealth. The original Yasuo knew this but simply didn't care.

It was the last day of the weekend so the next day, Yasuo would have to return to school, and based on the knowledge he had of the novel and the date displayed on his phone, he had a month left before the original story began to take place.

"What do you want me to do?" he asked while looking up at the ceiling or, rather, the skies that were beyond his ceiling. "Am I in this world to mess shit up? Do you want me to follow along to the original story? Give me an answer. How am I supposed to increase my life? I've already died once. I don't want to go through that all over again so soon."

The clock was ticking and not being informed of how to increase it was getting on his nerves.

Lost in his thoughts, he was brought back to reality when—

Knock knock knock.

Yasuo thought to himself, 'I don't remember giving any of my friends permission to come annoy me. Is one of them here to ruin my mood even further?'

A little ticked off, he walked over to the entrance and when he bent down to put one eye into the peephole, he was surprised to see that the person on the other side was not who he imagined it to be.

Even though the person in front of him was suspicious-looking with a grey hoodie with strings that were pulled tightly on their head to hide their face, Yasuo was able to use his acquired memories to recognize the person in front of him.

Their hoodie was familiar to him but more than that, it was the shape of the person itself that informed him of their identity.

Nakatani Shinju

That was the name of this girl standing on the other side of his door; she was the girlfriend of this "kid" that Yasuo had begun bullying around a week ago.

The kid hadn't done anything deserving of being bullied. He never got in Yasuo's path. They didn't share any classes. They had never even interacted before.

The only thing that caught Yasuo's attention, which led to the bullying, was the fact that he had been scrolling on social media when he saw a recommended post by the kid which was on his timeline because they happened to be following a mutual friend.

Well, it was more like this friend was the kid's senior at their club while this friend was one of Yasuo's lackeys.

The post was a picture of him and his girlfriend out on a lovely date at the amusement park.

"What a sexy girlfriend you have there... friend," the original Yasuo said while chuckling like a lunatic; the girl in the photo had large breasts and her hips matched them. She was curvy while meaty in all the right places.

She was only 160 centimeters or 5'3" in height and yet, her shape and height didn't clash as there was a harmony that was perfectly balanced making it pleasing to the eyes rather than feeling uncanny.

After acquiring the information about this kid through their mutual "friend", that was when all of the bullying began.

Through the peephole, Yasuo could see a few strands of her purple hair that confirmed his suspicions about the identity of this visitor.

Continuing to watch her through the peephole a little longer to see if she was going to leave after a while, she knocked on the door again—

Knock knock knock!

This time a little louder, it confirmed to him that her visit wasn't a mistake.

On the other side of the door, Shinju had knocked on the door a second time after not receiving any signs of someone coming to open the door for over a minute.

She had just finished knocking on the door when the door suddenly unlocked and opened up which surprised her because of how fast the response was. She slightly jolted as a result.

It was almost as if the person opening the door had been on the other side the entire time.

This was the first time she was seeing him not in the presence of her friends or her boyfriend by her side.

Nervously she gulped but she tried her hardest to conceal her nervousness.

Before she could say anything, Yasuo, who was holding the door open while looking her up and down, asked in a deep and hoarse voice that was so distinct that anyone who heard it just once would be able to recognize and distinguish it from any other voice in the world, "What are you doing here?"

Shinju was about to respond but stopped herself before a word could escape her mouth.

Looking to her left, then to her right, she scanned her surroundings. Even though they were in a hallway that only had an elevator and two doors, one that led to the roof and the other belonging to Yasuo's penthouse, it was better to be safe than sorry.

Once she determined that no one was around, her eyes which were the same color as her hair turned back to Yasuo.

Yasuo who knew what she had just done couldn't help but scoff internally. 'Other than me, who at our school could even afford to be in this neighborhood let alone be up this high at my penthouse? Is she worried that one of my friends is here?'

Even though people had to go through security to enter the building, Yasuo didn't even question how she managed to get all the way up here because his reputation preceded him.

After informing them that she was here to see Yasuo, they probably just let her up without double-checking because they just assumed that she was invited by him to be his next victim; any other time in the past, that would've been true however this time, that wasn't the case as this guest was most certainly an uninvited guest.

Still afraid that somehow, someone was going to overhear and rumors would spread around the school, she asked quietly while pulling on her hoodie strings even tighter, "May I come in?"

Before he could give a response, she had already invited herself inside and walked through his arm that was on the doorframe.

"...Yes you may," he chuckled.

'Why ask if you were just going to invite yourself in?' he pondered. He wasn't irritated by her self-invitation into his home, just a little baffled at where she found this sudden courage to walk into the mouth of a lion on her own.

Closing the door behind him, Yasuo walked into the living room where Shinju was standing and he came to a sudden stop when he saw her.

She had untied her hoodie string and pulled the hood off of her head revealing her face but what stunned him wasn't her beauty but rather, another red box that appeared before him.

[Yes] [No]

'What's this?' he pondered.

And in a natural motion that didn't look like anything unusual to Shinju who was starting to shiver a little more now that she had revealed the entirety of her face, he clicked on the yes button, unsure of what it did.

The red box disappeared, and he could bring up the main screen if he wanted to by just thinking and focusing on it, but he held back just for the moment. There was a conversation that was about to be held, and he didn't want to look like a weirdo with all the unnecessary movement.

'She's indeed as beautiful as she is in my memories,' he thought as he looked at the girl who was fiddling with her fingers. 'How come someone this beautiful wasn't ever mentioned in the novel?'

But just because she was beautiful didn't mean that he was beginning to lose himself to his primal urges like the original Yasuo who would've already been drooling at the mouth at the idea of plundering another girl.

Shinju's lips separated and then closed. Separated again. Closed again.

This happened a couple more times as she was struggling to utter out loud what her purpose of visiting his penthouse was.

She had even acquired the address through a friend of her friend, going out of her way to take a bus for a half an hour's trip away from her home for one single purpose, and she was struggling to express herself now that she was in his living room, staring directly at him who was dressed in casual home clothes rather than the typical school uniform which he never wore properly.

Even though he was just waiting for her to speak patiently, in her point of view, he was starting to get impatient with her and if she didn't do something soon, he was going to kick her out.

She "knew" her time was running thin and yet, the words still wouldn't come out whenever she opened her mouth.

'Hurry. Hurry! Speak! Speak!' she was starting to freak out in her mind.

And before she knew it, her body moved on its own.

If she couldn't say her purpose for the visit then she might as well show him with her actions.

Yasuo watched as she frantically took off her grey hoodie and tossed it aside, revealing the white shirt that she was wearing underneath. It wasn't a small shirt and yet the way that it hugged her bosom made it seem like it was multiple sizes too small for her.

Her hoodie was also slightly oversized so it had reached almost down to her knees, serving as a pseudo-dress, but now that it was off, he could see the entirety of her black leggings that hugged her legs and accentuated the arches of her peach.

If she were to be put on a scale out of 100 that measured her beauty which included cuteness, hotness, sexiness, etc., she was definitely in the high 80s.

Even though he had an inkling of what she was doing, he still asked while tilting his head, "What are you doing?"

His voice naturally had this constant monotone texture and calmness that never faltered that even with a new soul, he couldn't escape from.

She knew that he knew that she knew what she was doing by taking off the hoodie.

But it was too embarrassing to admit it.

So she responded with a lie, "It's... it's hot in your home," hoping that he wouldn't question her any further.

Yasuo took a quick peek at the thermostat and the temperature was perfect where it wasn't too cold that you needed to wear a hoodie nor was it too hot that wearing a hoodie would be uncomfortable.

He didn't call her out on her lies which was what she wanted.

"May I ask why you're here, in my home?" he questioned her. 'Dressed like that,' he finished the rest of what he wanted to say but only in his mind.

Shinju was surprised at how he spoke; she heard rumors of his lack of manners and the few encounters she had with him, although he never spoke to her, she got to hear firsthand how he spoke, which was nothing like that.

Where was the brashness? Where was the lack of manners? Where was the douchebaggery? Why — why did he sound like a regular person?

Unbeknownst to Yasuo, who was waiting for her response, someone was having a crisis internally because he sounded "human" and was using words like "may."

Literally shaking her head, Shinju told herself that she was getting off-topic and that this was probably just a guise that he showed to all of the girls that he had forced into his home.

With hesitation and fear still flickering in her eyes, she responded with a stutter, "Y-y-you know why I'm here."
