3...2...1... initiating sequence
On a beach in a world called eventide, a man sat alone, unable to recall how he ended up there or even who he was. The only remnants of his previous life were the word "Eventide" and the number 115, which floated in his mind when he awoke.
Now, over 150 years later, the man still lives on, somehow defying death. He has found some things to enjoy and has settled into a content but mundane existence. However, this peace will not last long. He is about to encounter other humans, which will finally reawaken a system that has been dormant for so long.
With this system, he begins to unravel the mystery of his lost memories and discover how he found himself on that beach in the first place. Follow him as he learns that the world around him is not what it seems—it might even be a fake, simulated reality.
This is my first serious attempt at writing a novel, and I genuinely want to complete it. If anyone has suggestions on how I can improve my writing quality, please leave a comment so I can grow and progress faster.
This book is mainly uploaded on royal road and most likely wont be posted past chapter twenty on here, for those that are interested and find my novel enjoyable head over there to get regular updates. Also the first few chapters of this book are shaky if I'm being honest but I'm trying my best to improve so give it a chance I'd appreciate it if you did. Thank you for any support you decide to give me.
