Breaking Malfoy

A scream full of pain was heard from not far away – from the direction Evan had disappeared to with his prisoner. Then another scream and another. Then silence. Draco was shaking in his boots. Urine dripping from the front of his robes. He did not think muggles could be so brutal. "Do you know who or what he will bring to this battle today?" asked the General. Draco was looking toward where the screaming had come from and then back to the General. "Ummm….Ummm….I believe he was going to bring Dementors and Giants. They were to overwhelm you and then the Death Eaters were going to come to finish the job." Draco responded hesitantly. Another scream was heard in the background. Midshipman Fenix returned without his prisoner. "Sir, the prisoner did not last long." He said. "I can take this one to his cell, Sir." He told the General. The General raised his eyebrow once again, before nodding.

December 23, 1995. 00:30am, Christ Church, Oxford College. Technically, Evan was still in the meditation mode of kuji-kiri. He had just started Jin, awareness, when he felt the first Death Eater vibration. He knew where this person was. He even knew who it was. Without a thought he turned and leapt off the building like a bird of prey, flying over the Death Eater in perfect silence and darkness, then circling around and swooping on him from the back, grabbing his neck as he landed. Evan hadn't processed what had just happened, just that he did it. Evan immediately removed Draco Malfoy's wands (he found more than one), and portkey, and then marched him to the Christ Church. It was just while the General was questioning Malfoy that Evan felt the vibrations of a second Death Eater – located on the top of the building opposite. He quickly and quietly turned away, and leapt off the opposite side of the building, away from all eyes.

Again, it felt like he was a large, dark bird of prey. Just like before, he circled around behind the Death Eater, knocking the man over, stunning him wandlessly. This time he transfigured the man into a twig, then transformed, picked up the twig and flew back to the rooftop from which he started. Transforming back to human, Evan heard Dr. Granger's description of Quartering. He knew Draco was a prideful hot head, but also a coward. Evan figured he could push some buttons. Before he approached, however, he called out for Dobby. "How may Dobby help Master Birdy sir?" Dobby said with a smirk. Evan chuckled. "Hey there Dobby. I need a prisoner's cell. Can you make one right here – I'd like the cell to be made with wire infused so it is unbreakable; also put notice-me-not and anti-portkey and anti-apparition charms on it. Is that something you and Winky can do for me?" "Yes sir! Dobby and Winky can do." "Great Dobby. Now, I want to play a little prank on the Death Eaters we are going to put in the prison – I want there to be a short pillar in the center, with rings I can attach barbed wire to. I want the pillar to feel dark, but will not be. Just to feel like it. Can you do that?" he asked. "Yes sir. Dobby learnt some nasty spells from bad former master". "Excellent, Dobby – I'll be back with this prisoner soon" Evan said. Then he Enervated his prisoner, removed his wands and portkey, made sure his bindings were secure, then took him to see the General.

Evan had just reached where the General was still questioning Draco. "Wait! Wait!" he heard Malfoy shout. "There was another here with me!" he continued. Evan then stepped forward, holding the bound arm of his prisoner. "That's not useful news either, as I have that person here with me." Evan said. The General raised his eyebrow. "Sir? Has Queen Margaret also authorized the use of execution by 1,000 cuts?" he asked. The General blinked. "Yes, Queen Margaret indeed did authorize that. Go question your prisoner Midshipman and then perform the execution post haste. We do not have any more time to waste." He added. "Wait!" Malfoy shouted again.
