The Squirtle, led by "Jenny," looked impressive with its round head, a small wavy tail, and a smooth, firm shell that seemed slightly different from regular Squirtles. However, the four Squirtles accompanying it were somewhat lacking. One Squirtle's head was elongated and pointed, while another's head was round and oval-shaped. A third Squirtle had a slightly protruding mouth.

"Jenny, Jenny..." The Squirtle next to the leader responded to the command. Although their conversation was unintelligible, the expressions of the Squirtles seemed somewhat reluctant.

"Jenny!" the leader Squirtle scolded the team member righteously. The team member lowered its head in shame, realizing that it had spoken incorrectly.

"Jene! Jenny, Jenny! Jenny!" The leader of Squirtle continued speaking, addressing the four members. They listened attentively, nodding from time to time as their expressions gradually became more determined.

"Jennie!" Seeing that the team was encouraged, the Squirtle leader adjusted its sunglasses and waved its right hand vigorously, signaling to its team to follow. The leader started walking forward, and the four Squirtles followed behind, heading towards the fire site. They were on their way to fight the fire!

"It's the Squirtle Legion!" A nearby resident exclaimed in surprise upon seeing the five Squirtles, attracting the attention of the crowd.

The leader Squirtle held its head high and walked confidently, unfazed by the onlookers, while the four others seemed a little nervous, with one Squirtle even turning its body into a crutch unknowingly.

"Why are they here? Isn't it chaotic enough without adding a fire?" A resident looked at the Squirtles with disdain, clearly not fond of them.

The Squirtles overheard the comments and their faces darkened, but the leader Squirtle appeared unbothered. It glanced back at its team, noticed they were slowing down, and urged them to catch up.

Ash also noticed the group of Squirtles. A smile appeared on his face as he recognized them. To his surprise, he had stumbled upon the Squirtle Legion in Yangquan City. Based on their appearance, they were indeed the same Squirtles from the anime.

However, Ash overheard some of the residents' conversations, which painted a rather poor picture of the Squirtle Legion. Apparently, these Squirtles had a bad reputation in Yangquan City, often stealing food and making graffiti everywhere.

The five Squirtles passed through the crowd and approached the cordon. The leader Squirtle looked up at the police officers guarding the area and chirped, seemingly trying to convince them to let them pass.

"Sorry, you can't go in," one of the officers said, dismissing the Squirtles. Although the Squirtles were Water-type Pokémon, the officer was familiar with their reputation and wasn't inclined to let them through.

The four Squirtles behind the leader looked disappointed, but the leader Squirtle persisted, attempting to communicate with the officer.

The officer, however, couldn't understand the Squirtle's words. His duty was to maintain security, and that meant preventing anyone, even Pokémon, from entering the area.

"What's going on here?" Officer Jenny, who had been monitoring the fire situation, noticed the commotion and walked over. She glanced at the Squirtles and asked the officer nearby.

"They seem to want to go in," the officer explained, saluting Officer Jenny.

"Jenny—Jenny!" The leader Squirtle, recognizing Officer Jenny, chirped, trying to convey its intentions. It hoped Jenny would understand.

"I'm sorry..." Officer Jenny shook her head at the eager Squirtles. "This isn't the place for you. It's one thing for you to cause trouble on normal days, but right now, the situation is critical. I can't let you in. You'd better stay quiet. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to arrest all of you."

"Jenny—!" The leader Squirtle's expression turned grim as it tried to explain again, but Officer Jenny remained firm. She had no choice; after all, the Squirtle Legion had a notoriously bad reputation.

"Officer Jenny, if I act as their leader, would you allow them to go in?" Just as the leader Squirtle was about to give up, a voice interrupted, drawing everyone's attention to Ash, who had been standing nearby.

Ash had been observing the situation and, understanding the Squirtles' true intentions, approached Officer Jenny. He had realized that they were not here to cause trouble but to help fight the fire.

"Are you their leader?" Officer Jenny frowned as she looked at Ash, who appeared to be about ten years old, with Pikachu perched on his shoulder. He looked like a typical child.

However, Ash's eyes were calm and determined, showing a maturity beyond his years.

"I'm a Trainer, and I've already reached the Poké Ball level," Ash replied confidently. "I didn't enter because I don't have any Water-type Pokémon. I simply want to ask if I can help. I think these Squirtles are here to assist, not to cause trouble."

Officer Jenny blinked in surprise and remembered that just a few minutes ago, Ash had asked her a question. She checked the Pokédex Ash had handed her and confirmed his Trainer level was indeed at the Poké Ball level.

"Since you're a certified Trainer and are vouching for them, I'll allow you to enter this time," Officer Jenny finally said. "But you need to keep them in check. If anything goes wrong, I'll arrest you all, including the Trainer who vouched for them."

She handed Ash back his Pokédex and turned to address the Squirtles.

"Jenny—!" The leader Squirtle's eyes brightened with excitement. It eagerly nodded and patted its chest, signaling that they would do their best.

"Come in!" Officer Jenny waved her hand to signal the police officers to move the barricade and allow Ash and the five Squirtles to pass.

"Please, guide us, Squirtles!" Ash squatted down and looked at the five Squirtles.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu also greeted the Squirtles, excited to join in the action.

"Jenny!" The leader Squirtle responded, nodding vigorously. They were determined to make sure they wouldn't disappoint the Trainer who had given them a chance.
