"Boom!" The flame hit Magneton, pushing it backward with force. After a while, the flame dissipated, revealing Magneton's battered body. It dropped from the air and crashed to the ground, unable to continue the fight!

"Magneton is unable to battle, Charmander wins!" The referee announced loudly.

"W-what just happened?" Zhora couldn't believe his eyes. Despite the chaotic conditions affecting the battle, Charmander had still been able to land a direct hit on Magneton. Was it really just luck?

"Well done, Charmander!" Ash clenched his fists, elated. Charmander had withstood the interference of the chaotic conditions with sheer willpower, a testament to its strength. This resilience was a sign of things to come, as Charmander was destined to be a strong fighter.

"Fire!" After breaking free from the battle's chaos, Charmander happily cheered and jumped around, interacting with Pikachu.

"Come back, Magneton!" Zhora recalled his Pokémon. He took a deep breath. Now, he only had one Pokémon left, while Ash still had three.

"I admit it, I truly underestimated you..." Zhora looked at Ash with respect. The boy he'd dismissed as inexperienced was turning out to be a formidable trainer. In fact, Ash's abilities were far above what Zhora had initially thought. If anything, Ash was not a Poké Ball-level trainer, but rather a Great Ball-level one.

"However, I will still be the winner of this battle!" Zhora declared, taking out his last Poké Ball. He threw it onto the battlefield with confidence. "Go, Raichu!"

A flash of white light filled the field as Raichu appeared. The Pokémon was larger than Pikachu, with dark red fur and a white belly, two brown stripes running across its back, and a thin, spark-shaped tail. Raichu had a pair of ears with a curly tip, brown on the outside and yellow on the inside. Its limbs were short, with no fingers but round, brown palms. The electric pouches on its cheeks were now yellow instead of red, signaling its evolved state.

Raichu

Type: Electric

Category: Mouse Pokémon

Ability: Static (Hidden Ability: Lightning Rod)

Strength: Elite Level

Zhora's Raichu wasn't his most powerful, but it was a formidable opponent. It had evolved from a Pikachu given to him by the Alliance, which had undergone extensive training. While it lacked the strength of his true trump card, Raichu, Zhora was confident that with his expertise, this Raichu could still defeat Ash's remaining Pokémon and win the battle.

"After I win, I'll give you the badge," Zhora added, though he still wasn't impressed by Ash's unevolved Pokémon. Yet, he couldn't deny that Ash's strength made him worthy of participating in the Indigo Plateau Conference.

"Come back, Charmander. Take a rest. I'll leave the rest to you!" Ash recalled Charmander and turned to his next Pokémon. "Pikachu, you're up!"

Pikachu jumped excitedly at Ash's command, landing in the middle of the battlefield. It crouched down, electric arcs sparking from its cheeks, ready for the fight.

"I believe in Pikachu!" Mei and Brock cheered from the stands, confident that Ash's Pikachu would win. Pikachu's power was well-known, especially after its ability to summon thunder so quickly. Even Raichu would have to be wary of that.

"Raichu, use Thunderbolt!" Zhora ordered, undeterred. He was confident that Raichu's Thunderbolt would be enough to overpower Pikachu.

Raichu cried out with excitement as it released a thick, violent bolt of lightning, streaking toward Pikachu.

"Pikachu, Quick Attack to dodge!" Ash quickly commanded. He wanted to mislead Zhora by avoiding a direct battle. Pikachu dashed forward like lightning, narrowly avoiding Raichu's Thunderbolt.

"Pikachu, now hit it with your own Thunderbolt!" Ash shouted.

Pikachu paused just long enough to turn and launch a Thunderbolt of its own. The bolt shot through the air, striking Raichu before it had a chance to react.

"Raichu, dodge!" Zhora ordered, but it was too late. Raichu tried to move but was slower than Pikachu, taking the full force of the Thunderbolt. The impact sent Raichu tumbling back, covered in golden sparks.

"Thunder!" Raichu cried in pain, smoke rising from its body as it struggled to stand. The attack had clearly done significant damage, leaving the Elite Pokémon weak on its knees.

"Is Pikachu really that strong?" Zhora muttered in disbelief. He had expected a much stronger resistance, but Pikachu's power had overwhelmed his Raichu, even considering the type advantage.

Ash was surprised as well, but he quickly remembered that this was no ordinary Pikachu. It wasn't just a regular Pikachu; it had the power to rival top-tier trainers, and its abilities were enhanced by its connection to legendary forces.

"You're not just an ordinary Pokémon," Ash thought to himself, watching Pikachu with pride. This battle was turning out to be more than just a contest of strength—it was a display of the bond and growth Ash and Pikachu shared. Ash realized that he had underestimated his own partner, and with the full power of Pikachu behind him, the battle could only be won.

The battle continued, but with Pikachu's powerful Thunderbolt and speed, the momentum had clearly shifted in Ash's favor.
