Chapter 33: Sakura's Pampering

"Relax! I can guarantee that Kallen won't dislike it; in fact, she'll be thrilled. Didn't you say you wanted to repay Kallen? But what can we possibly give her?"

"Nothing, really. Kallen lacks for nothing. Everything we have is thanks to her... aside from this... there's no other way."

Sensing Rin's hesitation, Sakura paused her steps to further reassure her sister.

If Rin was Sakura's dearest little sister, then in her heart... Rin had once occupied one hundred percent of her world. However, since that fateful night when Serenade appeared, saved her sister, and subsequently changed their lives over these past few years...

Now, within Sakura's heart, the space that was once solely for Rin had been halved, now shared equally with Serenade.

Their current life with the three of them felt incredibly blissful to Sakura, and she only wished for this to continue forever. So... if they could always stay together, that would be perfect.

Yae Rin remained somewhat hesitant; such matters were... exceedingly delicate.

"Relax, I know what you're worried about..." Yae Sakura reassured her. "I can confidently say Kallen would be absolutely delighted because... after all these years, I'm sure she's interested in girls. She has no attraction to boys at all, but when it comes to girls, she perks up instantly."

"Plus, did you not notice two days ago? When we... took off our clothes, Kallen's smoldering gaze? Although she tried to hide it, I still caught on." As Yae Sakura spoke, she felt a bit bashful herself. However, contemplating that if they didn't act now, and Serenade left one day in the future, it would be too late to regret it.

"Is that so? Then I believe you, Sis."

"That's the spirit..." Hearing Yae Rin's response, Yae Sakura nodded with satisfaction.

In Yae Sakura's heart, both Serenade and Yae Rin held equal importance; she wanted to lose neither one. So... as a grown adult, Yae Sakura chose to have everything.

And thus, she brought along Yae Rin.

In just a few days, Yae Rin would reach adulthood, making all of this quite permissible.

When the Yae Sakura sisters arrived at Serenade's room and quietly opened the door to enter, they found her still sound asleep.

Serenade could sleep so deeply because she felt absolutely safe with the Yae Sakura sisters around. Plus, the shrine had its carefully crafted barrier; any enemy approaching would be detected immediately. With all the time and effort Serenade put into constructing this barrier, not even an Emperor-class Honkai Beast could easily break it down.

And so, Serenade slept like a rock, completely oblivious to the Yae Sakura sisters entering their room.

They entered the room where Serenade lay asleep. Since it was springtime... she wasn't covered with a blanket at night; instead, there was only a thin towel-like cloth over her abdomen, with the rest of her body exposed.

She wore flimsy pajamas, but her sleeping posture wasn't good, causing many areas that shouldn't have been revealed to be on full display.

The two sisters stared at the slumbering girl, then exchanged glances. Slowly, they began taking off their own nightclothes.

Blushing, they approached Serenade...

"Who?"

Serenade had been fast asleep, but suddenly felt someone on top of her. She snapped her eyes open, instinctively preparing to fight back. It was only when she recognized the familiar pink hair through the dim candlelight that she hastily stopped herself.

"Sakura? And Rin... What are you doing here?"

Serenade looked down at the two girls draped over her, utterly confused.

Why aren't you two asleep in the middle of the night? What brings you to my room?

Could it be... the legendary night assault?

"K-Kallen-nee..."

Realizing that Serenade was awake, Yae Rin instantly felt awkward, unsure of how to look at Yae Sakura.

Yae Sakura also initially looked flustered but quickly composed herself and resumed her position atop Serenade.

"Kallen... Why don't you relax for a bit?" Yae Sakura gently suggested.

"Huh?" Serenade's curiosity was immediately piqued.

"A massage, you see... using the Yae family's ancestral massage techniques. Would you like to give it a try?" Yae Sakura propped herself up on her hands, leaned down, and looked earnestly at Night Serenade below her.

"A massage? And it's ancestral too?"

Yeah right...

And instead of sleeping, they want to give me a massage in the middle of the night?

Serenade found this hard to believe. Nevertheless, she didn't reject the offer, wanting to see what these two sisters were truly up to.

"Sure!" Serenade nodded, readily agreeing.

"Great! First, take off your clothes... then turn over and lie face-down on the bed," Yae Sakura said hastily.

"Okay... I guess." After a moment of hesitation, Serenade removed her night gown and lay prone on the bed...

"Well then, let's begin..."

Yae Sakura directly sat on Serenade's hips and placed her hands on her back.

"Ahem..."

The strange sound echoed through the room...

In that moment, Serenade realized what Kallen had experienced in the manga—Yae Sakura's version of "bird in a cage"—a sensation that could be described with one word: "bliss," and two words: "utter comfort"!

The next day, morning.

When Serenade awoke, she felt something heavy on her body. Opening her eyes...

She saw two smooth, naked bodies lying on top of her—the two Yae sisters... They hadn't gone home last night.

To be honest, nothing really happened between them, just some very gentle moments...

After all, although Serenade harbored deep feelings for them, Yae Rin was still so young. Besides, Serenade had always raised Yae Rin as her own daughter.

Isn't this just like becoming a "mysterious mother" or something? She felt too embarrassed to go further.

"Kallen... you're awake..."

As soon as Serenade stirred, Yae Sakura also opened her eyes, gazing at the woman beside her. Although nothing had transpired as she had hoped last night, this was... a promising start.

She considered it a partial victory, and her mood was still quite buoyant.

"If you're awake, let's get up..."

Serenade looked helplessly at the Yae sisters lying on her.
