The CEO's plan

As Haruta and Maya watched, the CEO of The Syndicate began to walk towards them, a sinister grin spreading across his face.

Haruta's heart was racing, his senses on high alert. He knew that they had to get out of there, fast.

But as they turned to run, Haruta felt a hand on his shoulder, holding him back.

"Wait," Maya whispered. "Let's hear what he has to say."

Haruta hesitated, then nodded. They turned to face the CEO, who was now standing in front of them.

"Welcome, Haruta Masamuta," the CEO said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I've been waiting for you."

Haruta's eyes narrowed. "What do you want?" he asked.

The CEO smiled. "Oh, I think you know," he said. "I want the data that you and your friends stole from us."

Haruta shook his head. "We'll never give it to you," he said.

The CEO chuckled. "We'll see about that," he said. "You see, Haruta, I have something that you want. Something that will make you give me the data, no matter what."

Haruta's heart sank. What could the CEO possibly have that would make him give up the data?

"What is it?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

The CEO smiled again. "I have your sister," he said.

Haruta's eyes widened in horror. "What have you done with her?" he demanded.

The CEO shrugged. "Oh, she's safe, for now," he said. "But if you don't give me the data, I'm afraid she'll be in grave danger."

Haruta felt a wave of anger wash over him. He knew that he had to get his sister back, no matter what.

"Fine," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "I'll give you the data. But you have to promise to let my sister go."

The CEO smiled again. "I promise," he said. "But you have to come with me, first."

Haruta hesitated, unsure of what to do. But then he looked at Maya, and saw the determination in her eyes.

"Let's do it," she whispered.

Haruta nodded, then turned to the CEO. "Okay," he said. "I'll come with you."

The CEO smiled, then turned and walked away, expecting Haruta and Maya to follow.

As they walked, Haruta couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He knew that he was walking into a trap.

But he also knew that he had to save his sister.

No matter what !.
