The Destruction

In the room, an eerie silence prevailed, punctuated only by the soft hum of the cooling systems. Rakien watched Old Kahn紧张ly as he set the countdown on the bomb. Miles away, in the old garage, Chris's progress bar inched forward, indicating that the data was being continuously transmitted to a remote server.

"Is it done? We need to hurry below once this is finished," Young Kahn urged.

"There's one minute left," Chris said over the communication.

The group then cautiously made their way to the elevator. Betty provided the underground blueprints, and Chris successfully hacked the elevator, which opened silently. They took the elevator down to the fifth sub-level, where, according to intelligence, the center for virus and mosquito breeding should be located.

They passed through several protective doors, each exuding a high-tech feel as if they had entered a futuristic world. Finally, they arrived at a password-protected door. After some effort, they successfully cracked the code and gently pushed open the heavy door.

As they entered this mysterious space, everyone was stunned by the sight before them. It was a vast room with dim lighting, but they could see dozens of large culture tanks stacked in the center. These giant incubators looked like something out of a science fiction movie, with screens displaying various information, showing the temperature, humidity, and other vital parameters inside the tanks.

Each culture tank was filled with tens of thousands of black mosquitoes, densely packed together, creating a chilling scene. The mosquitoes squirmed, reminiscent of terrifying movie scenes.

However, what caught everyone's attention the most were the rows of huge cylindrical glass cryogenic devices standing eight meters tall along the walls. These cryogenic tanks emitted a faint blue glow, casting a mysterious ambiance over the room. Standing beneath these tanks, looking up, they felt an unparalleled sense of awe. The massive metal devices gleamed with a luster, as if they were products of extraterrestrial technology, possibly provided by the negative aliens.

Each glass device had a display screen scrolling with various information. Old Kahn stepped forward to take a cautious look and was shocked to find that they indeed contained mosquito eggs and highly lethal viruses, with each tank holding countless viruses and eggs, categorized by type and quantity.

"These damned things must be destroyed!!!" Old Kahn whispered fiercely.

Rakien looked up at a screen displaying a full-body magnified image of a mosquito, and what was eerie was that the mosquito's transparent wings had distinct black patches clearly showing numbers - 76!

"Look at this! There's no way this is a mosquito from nature! Where in nature would you find a mosquito with numbers on its wings? It's absolutely inconceivable!" he exclaimed in disbelief.

Young Kahn stared intently at the strange mosquitoes, muttering to himself, "These must be artificially bred. And, judging by the numbers displayed on their wings, it's clear that they have been genetically modified in different batches, so as to visually display the corresponding batch information on their wings." His brow furrowed even deeper.

At that moment, everyone leaned over the large culture tanks to closely observe the contents. To their surprise, all the mosquitoes had numbers clearly imprinted on their wings. This discovery sent chills down everyone's spine, such a large batch!

Young Kahn nodded firmly, gritting his teeth, and said with determination, "No matter what, we cannot allow these evil things to continue to exist in this world. Otherwise, we don't know what kind of disaster and threat they will bring to humanity!"

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone sprang into action. Following their pre-planned strategy, they quickly and methodically placed various explosive devices. At some key locations, they planted high-powered explosive devices to ensure the complete destruction of the entire experimental base and all the mosquito samples within.

At this moment, Old Kahn, who had been vigilantly monitoring the surroundings, suddenly looked up at the ceiling. His expression became grave as if he had detected something unusual. Then, he signaled everyone to stop what they were doing and whispered, "Do you hear that? It sounds like something is coming from above."

Upon Old Kahn's warning, everyone fell silent, straining their ears to listen. Indeed, a faint but continuous vibration was coming from the building above. The sound was like some large mechanical equipment slowly starting up, instilling fear.

A strange atmosphere suddenly filled the air. The room seemed to vibrate slightly, and then the lights flickered. The wall screens displayed a warning message: "System compromised! Data protection measures activated."

"Damn it, they've found out!" Chris's voice became urgent, "You have to evacuate now!" "Oren! Get out of there."

In the research center's lobby, Oren received the call through his earpiece, stood up, "Alright, I've got what I came for, I'm leaving!"

"Very well, sir, have a safe trip..." The guards stood by respectfully seeing him off.

At that moment, underground, "Are the high explosives in place?" Rakien asked urgently.

Old Kahn nodded, "Set."

At that moment, the server's red light started flashing rapidly, and the alarm blared. "Let's go!" Rakien shouted.

They quickly evacuated, taking the elevator up and then running towards the exit. The corridor echoed with the alarm, their footsteps echoing urgently in the empty hallway. Young Kahn took the lead, followed closely by Old Kahn and Rakien. Everyone felt the pressure from behind them, as if invisible pursuers were chasing after them.

Suddenly, several security personnel appeared ahead, coming towards them. Without hesitation, Young Kahn quickly dodged to the side of the door, swiftly pulled a flash grenade from his waist, and tossed it out.

"Take cover!" he shouted loudly.

In an instant, intense white light flooded the corridor, the security personnel instinctively covered their eyes, momentarily losing their ability to act. Seizing this opportunity, everyone rushed past them and continued to run towards the exit.

"We're almost there!" Old Kahn panted, pointing ahead.

"The countdown is at thirty seconds,"

"Counting down!"

The three finally burst out of the building.

Suddenly, a muffled roar came from below, as if the entire earth was trembling. Then, a massive cloud of smoke and fire shot into the sky, illuminating the night. The powerful shockwave from the explosion swept over them like an invisible force, nearly knocking them off their feet.

They stumbled, scrambling into the vehicle they had prepared, which was ready and waiting for them. As the engine roared to life, the car sped off like an arrow released from a bow, disappearing into the night in an instant. Outside the window, the distant building gradually shrank until they turned the last corner.

As the fire and dust in the night sky gradually dissipated, the once-massive biochemical research center had completely collapsed, turning into a pile of ruins.

The cold night wind blew in their faces, caressing their cheeks. The streets were deserted, the surroundings so quiet it was unsettling. Only their rapid breathing broke the silence of the night.

They drove away quickly, the weight of anxiety in their hearts gradually settling. Rakien looked at the distant firelight through the rearview mirror, feeling a sense of relief.
