The little thief

She finally got to the market and picked a lot of things, she already ate some but forgot she hasn't paid. As they were about to leave, the shop keeper called them back

"Miss you haven't paid yet" the shop keeper said.

"Oh payment, A-dong " Nana said as she looked at A-dong.

"I didn't bring any money along " A-dong said as she whispered into her ears. Nana gave a glaring and mischievous look back to Nana and immediately they both ran in different directions.

"Hey stop!!!" The shop keeper shouted as he chased them. But they kept on running, Nana suddenly bumped into a stranger that was almost her age. They both starred at each other's eyes for a while, suddenly.

"Where are they, you must catch them" the shop keepers men saud to them selves.

"You..." the stranger said as Nana covered his mouth and pulled him to a corner.

"Shhhhhh!!" Nana hushed him,still covering his mouth until she was sure they were safe. After some minutes she removed her hand from his mouth.

"You may speak now" Nana said while dusting her hands.

"Why are they after you, did you do something, wait did you steal??" The stranger boy asked.

"Don't pry in my business ok, I didn't do anything, they were just after my me for my wealth " Nana said as she smiled mischievously to her lie but started hicking up

"Whats wrong with you??" the stranger asked

"Its nothing " Nana said still hicking up

"Oh I see, you hick up when you lie right??" The stranger asked but got no reply from Nana. He started patting Nana's back the help her calm down. Feel minutes later she stopped hicking up.

"Well..thank you" Nana said

"Its nothing " he replied

"Well are you heading back home now or still want to buy things?" He asked

"What of you " Nana asked

"Originally I came to the market to stroll and I'm not done, I wonder if you can accompany me" he said

"Well I can but you have to fill my stomach too" Nana said smiling

"Well thats not a problem " he said as he held her hands as they both went together. He bought her lots of snacks and accessories which she appreciated so much. They continued till night fall, when it was time to part ways, Nana wanted to leave.

"Wait!!" He stopped her

"Can I know your name??" He said

"I am Kim nana " she replied and wanted to leave again

"If we meet in the future, how will I know you" he asked

"Hmmmm..." Nana thought. Suddenly she remembered she was wearing a necklace, and decided to break it into half

"Here" Nana said as she gave him the half and took the other half

"In the future I will recognize you with the necklace " Nana said, as she wanted to leave he stopped her again and took out an hair pin and gave it to her

"In the future I will also use it to remember you, don't forget I am zhao ziqing" he said as he smiled towards her

"Oh ok" Nana said as she ran back home

TILL WE MEET AGAIN

Nana and A-dong returned home only to be met with an empty household. Everyone was suddenly gone, no one was home, not even a shadow.

"A-dong" Nana called

"My lady" A-dong replied in a confused state

"Apart from my birthday, is there any special event going on that I know nothing about " Nana asked confused

"I don't think so" A-dong replied while scratching her head.

These whole thing made Nana confused and worried most especially for her father.

"Paaaaa!!" Nana shouted while searching everywhere for her father but still got no response. On getting to her fathers room, she saw a note on the table left by her father to her. She opened the letter to read

"Nana my dearest daughter, if you are seeing this letter now it means I'm not back yet or I'm gone already, we suddenly received a heavy blow from the Yans' and right now I am at the border protecting our country, I want you to live a healthy and good life. After the death of your mother I have always wanted to give you the best and which I have done so, but I am very sorry that I won't be able to watch you grow and also be there when you need me the most, take the money in my drawer and go to your uncle's place at the chengs' I know he would treat you very well and protect you on my behalf and also there are a lot of children there who would love to be your friend. From your father" the letter stated

Nana read this with tears filled in her eyes, regretting the fact that she left her father and went out to play, she felt like if she was home atleast she would have seen her father one more time. Unable to accept reality, she stood up and stormed out of the room.

"A-dong!!" Nana shouted

"My lady" A-dong replied looking at Nana in a confused state

Nana hands over the bag of money to A-dong.

"Take this money and go over to my uncle place at the cheng, you must survive " Nana said with tears filled in her eyes

"My lady you..." she was cut short by Nana

"Its an order " Nana said looking firmly at A-dong

"I'll only go on one condition, you must come back well and alive, you mustn't leave me as well" A-dong said with tears rolling down her cheeks

"Yoon-ah!!" Nana called as a horse neighed towards her. She mounted the horse and without looking back at A-dong

"Farewell " she coldly said as she rode off with the horse
