Heavy downpour

Nana arrived at the city's border with her white horse Yoon-ah only to see the unpleasant killing of her country people by the Yans', with all boldness Nana finally decided the mount down from the horse and go in search of her father not minding the war happening in her midst.

"Paaa, paaa!!" Nana shouted, crying while still looking for her father

She suddenly heard the sound of an arrow shot towards her, as she was about to look back to dodge, she was covered by someone ' her father '

"Paaa!!!" Nana shouted as she grabbed her injured father who fell to the ground

"Run!!!" The father shouted as he pushed Nana away and was pierced by two soldiers from the Yan

"Noooo!!! Paaaa!!!!" Nana shouted looking at her father in despair. Meanwhile the king of Yan and his son were watching everything going on from another end, unfortunately Nana sighted them but now the only thing that filled her heard and mind was hatred

"Thats enough!!!" She shouted as she picked up the bow and arrow beside her and shot it directly at the price who was standing there watching the whole scene with his father

"Beicheng!!!" The king shouted as he held his son whom fainted in his arms

"After her!!!" The king ordered

Now Nana being chased had no other choice but to run because she knew she had to survive in order to take revenge on those who murdered her father and wiped out her people. She got to the end of a cliff with no where else to run because she was already surrounded by the Yans army. As she turned back she was shot directly by one of the armies, there and then she fell off from the cliff.

A NEW BEGINNING

Days has past, months past and years gone

(In the Chengs residence)

"How could she still be sleeping by this time, doesn't she have work to do or does she has maids to do them for her" Ms Wang said as she walked into Cheng Mi room

Ms Wang is the senior maid in the Chengs residence.

"Wake her up immediately " Ms Wang said as she poured a bucket of water on Cheng Mi

"Ms Wang!" Cheng Mi exclaimed while panting

"Do you think you are a princess or what, look you are nothing more than a poor dog who was taken in by the Chengs and I believe you should know your place her. Now move to work" Ms Wang said as she left the room

"Yes ma'am " Cheng Mi said with her head low.

Chengi Mi is an eighteen year old beautiful and talented adopted daughter of the Chengs, she was treated like a servant, only her uncle treated her well.

She later went to take her bath that morning, while dressing up in front of her mirror she looked at the mysterious star shaped scar by the left side of her shoulder

"When will I finally get to know about the origin of this scar" she said while looking at her self in the mirror touching the scar as she later pulled her cloth up and went for her duties

"Cheng Mi where have you been since, the two ladies has been searching for you, go serve them immediately " Cheng Lin told Cheng Mi.

Cheng Lin is also an adopted daughter of the Chengs residence. Cheng Mi went to serve the two daughters of the Chengs residence which were her cousins. But they didn't like Cheng Mi, they despised her so much all because their father mostly gave her all the love and affection.

"Where have you been?" Cheng Ji the youngest daughter asked

"Its too early to be harsh" Cheng Hee the youngest daughter said

"Sister you always support her and its not good, one day she will bring calamity for us all, its better we teach her a lesson now or later in the future we would regret " Cheng Ji said to her elder sister

"Thats enough!! " Mr Cheng shouted from behind

"Father" The two daughters greeted with a prostrate

"Uncle " Cheng Mi greeted with a prostrate too

"I have told you to be nice towards her, she is your older cousin, show some respect and be nice to her" Mr Cheng said

"Paa" Cheng Ji cried out making a fuss

"I didn't come here for that, I came here to tell you that the prince of yan would be coming here today to form the marriage alliance with your betrothal gifts so you two should get ready for that" Mr Cheng said to his two daughters

"Really!!" Cheng Ji exclaimed in happiness

"I will go and make preparations for him" Mr Cheng said as he left

"Sister!! We would finally be entering the palace as royals" Cheng Ji told her sister as they both giggled

"As for you" Cheng Ji said towards Cheng Mi

"I can't let you ruin this big day for me, go to the market and buy some groceries for the kitchen, go immediately and don't come back early " Cheng Ji said as she pulled her elder sister away happily

"I don't know why hearing the name Yan always gives me a flinch of pain in my chest" Cheng Mi said as she left for the market
