Demonstrate Skills

The room erupted into murmurs of disbelief. "No way," one student muttered. "We've been trying to crack this thing for weeks, and you're telling us it was made by one guy?"

Another student shook his head in amazement. "No wonder we couldn't get past the first layer. This thing is a fortress."

Qin Han stared at Lin Yun, his expression a mix of admiration and frustration. "Do you have any idea how much time we've spent trying to break into this? And here you are, the guy who made it, standing in our clubroom like it's no big deal."

Lin Yun chuckled. "I didn't mean to cause any trouble. Aegis is designed to be impenetrable, so it's not surprising you're having a hard time with it."

Fan Xian, still grinning, clapped Lin Yun on the back. "See? I told you Brother Lin is a legend."

Li Shun, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "Brother Lin is amazing. He's always coming up with new ideas and projects."

Qin Han took a deep breath, clearly trying to process everything. "Well, this changes things. If you're the one who created Aegis, then you're exactly the kind of person we need in this club. Would you be interested in joining us?"

Lin Yun considered the offer for a moment. The hacker club seemed like a place where he could challenge himself and collaborate with others who shared his passion for technology. But he also had a lot on his plate already.

"I'd be interested," Lin Yun said finally. "As long as it doesn't force me to do anything or take up too much of my time. I've got a lot of projects going on."

Qin Han nodded eagerly. "Of course, of course. We understand you're a busy person. We'd just be honored to have you as part of the club. You could share your expertise, help us with challenges, and maybe even teach us a thing or two about cybersecurity."

Lin Yun smiled. "I can do that. But don't expect me to give away all my secrets."

The room erupted into laughter, the tension from earlier dissipating. Qin Han extended his hand again, this time with a grin. "Welcome to the hacker club, Lin Yun. We're glad to have you."

As Lin Yun shook Qin Han's hand, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. The hacker club was exactly the kind of resource he needed—a chance to recruit these people who shared the passion for technology.

Fan Xian, ever the opportunist, leaned over to Qin Han. "So, uh, does this mean we get to join too? I mean, we're kind of Lin Yun's entourage."

Qin Han chuckled. "Sure, why not? The more, the merrier."

Li Shun, who had been quietly observing, looked both excited and nervous. "I'm not as skilled as Brother Lin, but I'd love to learn more."

Qin Han clapped him on the shoulder. "Don't worry. We're all here to learn and grow. You'll fit right in."

As the meeting continued, Lin Yun found himself drawn into the group's discussions and challenges. They were a talented bunch, with a wide range of skills and a shared passion for technology. Lin Yun shared some insights into Aegis, explaining the principles behind its design and offering tips on how to approach similar challenges. The club members listened intently, their respect for him growing with every word.

Lan Qingxue, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "Lin Yun, do you think you could give us a demonstration? Maybe show us how you would approach a cybersecurity challenge?"

Lin Yun considered the request for a moment before nodding. "Sure. Let's see what you've got."

The club members quickly set up a challenge, creating a simulated network with multiple layers of security. Lin Yun took a seat at one of the computers, his fingers flying across the keyboard as he navigated through the system.

The room watched in awe as he bypassed firewalls, decrypted passwords, and neutralized traps with ease. It was like watching a master at work, and by the time he was done, the room was filled with applause.

"That was incredible," Qin Han said, his voice filled with admiration. "You make it look so easy."

Lin Yun shrugged modestly. "It's just a matter of understanding the system and thinking a few steps ahead. With practice, you'll get there."

"It's easier said than done," Qin Han shook his head, wearing a wry smile. He suddenly felt that everything he had learned in the past four years was wasted when compared to Lin Yun.

Lin Yun smiled and said nothing. He would feel the same if he were Qin Han.

"Lin Yun," Qin Han suddenly spoke, breaking the flow of conversation. The room quieted slightly, curious about what their club president had to say. "You've clearly got a unique perspective on technology. What do you think about the future of the internet landscape? Where do you see things heading?"

Lin Yun paused, his expression thoughtful. He glanced around the room, taking in the eager faces of the club members. They were all talented, passionate, and hungry for knowledge. If there was ever a group worth sharing his insights with, it was this one.

"The internet landscape is going to change dramatically in the next decade," Lin Yun began, his voice steady and confident. "Right now, we're still in the early stages of what I'd call the 'digital revolution.' But the pace of innovation is accelerating, and the next few years will redefine how we interact with technology."

The room fell silent, every eye fixed on Lin Yun. Even Lan Qingxue, who had been quietly observing from the sidelines, leaned in slightly, her curiosity piqued.

"First," Lin Yun continued, "the internet will become even more integrated into our daily lives. It won't just be something we use on our computers or phones—it'll be everywhere. Smart homes, wearable tech, even cities will be connected. The concept of the 'Internet of Things' will explode, and everything from your fridge to your car will be online."

Everyone quickly took out their notebooks and began to write down what Lin Yun was going to say next…
