Chapter 9;interview

Monday morning dawned bright and early, and Tehila woke up feeling refreshed and revitalized. She had spent the previous day preparing for this moment, researching the company and practicing her responses to common interview questions.

After a quick breakfast together with Mylo, Tehila got dressed in her best outfit, a crisp white blouse and a tailored black suit that accentuated her curves. She felt confident and professional, her hair styled perfectly and her makeup subtle yet elegant.

With her resume and portfolio in hand, Tehila headed out the door, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. She had studied economics in college, graduating at the top of her class, and she was determined to land a job in her field.

Her destination was the headquarters of Summerville's largest company, Greenwood Investments, a multinational corporation that specialized in economic development and sustainability. Tehila had always been passionate about these issues, and she knew that this company would be the perfect fit for her skills and experience.

As she arrived at the office building, Tehila was greeted by a friendly receptionist who directed her to the conference room. There, she met her interviewer, Mr. Thompson, the manager of Greenwood Investments.

"Good morning, Tehila," Mr. Thompson said, standing up to shake her hand. "It's great to meet you. Please, have a seat."

Tehila sat down, feeling a bit more at ease. "Thank you, Mr. Thompson," she said. "It's great to meet you too."

The interview went smoothly, with Tehila answering questions about her education, her skills, and her experience. She was confident and articulate, and she could tell that Mr. Thompson was impressed.

"So, Tehila," Mr. Thompson said, leaning back in his chair. "Tell me, why do you want to work for Greenwood Investments?"

Tehila thought for a moment before responding. "I've always been passionate about economic development and sustainability," she said. "And I believe that Greenwood Investments is a leader in this field. I would love the opportunity to be a part of a team that is making a real difference in the world."

Mr. Thompson nodded, smiling. "Well, Tehila, I think you would be a great fit for our team. We'll be in touch soon to let you know our decision."

Tehila left the office building feeling hopeful and optimistic. She had done her best, and now all she could do was wait.

The next morning, Tehila was eating breakfast when her phone rang. She picked it up, expecting it be one as she literally had no friends talk about family, But instead, it was Mr. Thompson, calling to offer her the job.

"Tehila, I'm pleased to inform you that you've been selected for the position," Mr. Thompson said. "We were impressed by your skills and experience, and we believe that you would be a valuable asset to our team."

Tehila was stunned. She had expected to have to wait longer, to have to go through more interviews and assessments. But instead, she had landed the job on her first try.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Thompson," Tehila said, trying to contain her excitement. "I'm thrilled to accept the offer."

Mr. Thompson chuckled. "Welcome to the team, Tehila. We're looking forward to having you on board."
