Chapter 16;Meeting hubby

Tehila woke up from her nap at 2 PM, feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the day. She had a dinner date with Lucien, and she wanted to make a good impression. After getting dressed, she headed out to drop off her dog, Milo, at the daycare.

Next, she decided to visit a clothing store to find the perfect outfit for the evening. As she browsed through the racks, her eyes landed on a beautiful grey dress that caught her attention. She tried it on, and it fit perfectly. What she didn't know was that grey was Lucien's favorite color, along with black and white.

Feeling excited about her purchase, Tehila headed back home to get ready for the evening. As she did her makeup, she couldn't help but feel a little nervous. She had no idea what to expect from the dinner date, but she was determined to make a good impression.

Just as she was finishing up, the estate security called to inform her that the driver had arrived to pick her up. Tehila's heart skipped a beat as she made her way to the door. When she opened it, she was greeted by a polite-looking driver who introduced himself as Ash.

Tehila was taken aback by the luxurious car that was waiting for her. It was sleek and shiny, and she couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. What kind of man was Lucien, anyway?

As they drove to the restaurant, Tehila and Ash made small talk. He was friendly and courteous, and Tehila found herself feeling more at ease.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Tehila's jaw dropped in amazement. It was the most luxurious restaurant in Somai Ville, and she had never seen anything like it before. The manager ushered her into the dinner room, where Lucien was waiting for her.

Tehila's heart skipped a beat as she saw Lucien standing by the window, looking handsome and sophisticated. She felt a little shy and nervous, but she was determined to make a good impression.

Lucien stepped out of his mansion, a stunning estate with beautifully manicured gardens and a private lake. The mansion itself was a work of art, with elegant architecture and floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

As he walked towards his car, a sleek black Volkswagen, Lucien felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. Today was going to be special.

He didn't need a driver today, so he got behind the wheel and started the engine. As he pulled out of the driveway, a second car, a black SUV, followed closely behind. Lucien's bodyguards were always with him, but today they would keep a discreet distance.

The drive to the restaurant was short and pleasant. Lucien arrived at the elegant establishment, called "Bella Vita", and stepped out of the car. He was dressed in a stunning black Armani suit, complete with a crisp white shirt and a black tie. His shoes were handmade Italian leather, polished to perfection.

As he walked into the restaurant, the manager greeted him warmly. "Good evening, Mr. Lucien. Your guest has arrived. She's waiting for you in the private dining room."

Lucien smiled, feeling a sense of excitement. He followed the manager to the private dining room, where Tehila was waiting for him.

As Lucien entered the private dining room, the soft glow of the candles and the elegant décor enveloped him in a warm, quiet ambiance. The air was thick with the scent of fresh flowers, and the soft hum of classical music floated in the background.

Tehila stood up, her eyes widening as she took in Lucien's elegant appearance. Lucien smiled, his expression serious and composed, and helped her sit back down.

The waiter arrived with the menus, and Lucien took a seat across from Tehila. The silence between them was palpable, but Lucien didn't seem to mind. He scanned the menu, his expression intent.

Tehila, on the other hand, seemed a bit more nervous. She fidgeted with her napkin, her eyes darting around the room.

The waiter returned to take their orders, and Lucien spoke in a low, smooth tone. Tehila followed suit, her voice barely above a whisper.

As they waited for their food to arrive, the silence between them grew thicker. Lucien didn't try to fill the silence with small talk, and Tehila seemed content to simply sit and wait.

When the food arrived, they ate in silence, the only sound the soft clinking of silverware against plates. Lucien's expression remained serious and composed, his eyes fixed on his food.

Tehila, on the other hand, seemed to be stealing glances at Lucien, her eyes darting towards him before quickly looking away.

It wasn't until they had finished their dinner and the waiter had cleared the plates that Lucien finally spoke up. He cleared his throat, his voice low and smooth.

"I guess it's right about time we talk about ourselves, okay?" he said, his sexy eyes locking onto Tehila's.

Tehila's heart skipped a beat as Lucien spoke. She had been wondering what he wanted to talk about, and now that the moment had finally arrived, she felt a sense of trepidation.

Lucien leaned forward, his eyes locked on hers. "I want to thank you for coming tonight, Tehila," he said, his voice low and sincere. "I know it was short notice, but I'm glad you could make it."

Tehila smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "Thank you for inviting me," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Lucien smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm glad I did," he said. "You look beautiful tonight."

Tehila felt a blush rise to her cheeks as Lucien complimented her. She looked down, trying to compose herself.

Lucien leaned back in his chair, his eyes never leaving hers. "So, Tehila," he said, his voice low and smooth. "Tell me about yourself."

Tehila looked up, feeling a sense of surprise. She hadn't expected Lucien to ask her about herself. But as she looked into his eyes, she saw something there that made her feel like he was genuinely interested.

"Okay," she said, taking a deep breath. "Hmm,...Where do I start?"

Tehila took a deep breath and began to tell Lucien about herself. "I'm a graduate of Hooke's University, where I studied economics and graduated with a first-class degree," she said, trying to sound confident.

Lucien's eyes narrowed slightly as he listened, his expression intent. "That's impressive," he said, his voice low and smooth. "You're very young to have achieved so much."

Tehila smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "I'm twenty-four," she said.

Lucien nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "And what do you like to do in your free time?" he asked.

Tehila hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. But there was something about Lucien's gaze that made her feel like she could trust him. "I like to spend time with my dog, Mylo," she said, smiling. "He's a little ball of energy, always keeping me on my toes."

Lucien's expression didn't change, but Tehila noticed that his eyes seemed to gleam with interest. "I'm sure he's a lovely companion," he said.

As they talked, Tehila couldn't help but notice that Lucien was looking at her in a very weird way. It was as if he was trying to see right through her, to uncover some hidden secret. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she met his gaze, unsure of what to make of his intense stare.

Lucien's eyes seemed to bore into her soul, as if he was searching for something. Tehila felt a sense of unease, unsure of what he was looking for. But as she looked into his eyes, she saw something there that made her feel like he was genuinely interested in getting to know her.
