Elician couldn't stop smiling, who knew his life would change this drastically? From being poor to becoming rich.

Indeed it was better he took the money from Wilson and William.

He said to himself. "My life is finally going to be better." He said that thinking his life was getting better only if he knew the dangers that awaits him in his future, he would have stayed back home.

All his life he had been living in that tiny aged house. It was a relief that they are now moving to a new city. Life is finally going to be better.

No more mouse!!

Those small creatures have been eating his food since he started growing up. He would mostly burn them into ashes, sometimes he just buried them alive yet still they didn't stop eating his food.

There was this one time that he was really really really hungry that he could not even breath properly and sadly his mother was not around. The only food that was left in the kitchen was garlic soup with apple slices. That was the food he was going to survive on the entire day.

He had been waiting for it to be in the middle of the day so that when he eats that meal at that time, he wouldn't feel hungry until the following day comes but when he limped his weak body to the kitchen and opened the bowl the food was in, what he saw made him cry! He saw a mouse and not just any mouse, it was a very large one. It was the first thing he saw when opening that bowl.

Elician didn't cry because the mouse had eaten his food. No!

He cried because the mouse had been lying dead inside the precious bowl that was meant to feed him that day.

The soup was bitter as hell, and even the common mouse could not survive its unpleasant taste.

It wasn't like his mother was a bad cook or something, she just didn't have the right ingredients for her meals. That's why they have been eating weird foods. That day he slept on an empty stomach.

Elician 'L' Delvan. And I am guessing you already know the full meaning of the "L"don't you? Good, now I don't have to explain it again.

Elician would never forget about his friends; the mouse. Yeah I mean it. Those creatures were the only friends he had his entire life. He would sometimes talk with them, especially whenever people rejected him. While he was staring at the trees as the carriage moved, one event flashed his mind.

He remembered when he was four years old, and at that time he was with his equals playing with them then in a moment he heard a woman yelling at him. The woman out of nowhere came and grabbed her two daughters from the playground. Then another mother came and took her children away from Elician. "Take your children away from that devil child." One of them said and hearing this all the women came and took their kids away from him. He stood there feeling innocent.

Wait! That wasn't what he was feeling, it was loneliness. He felt alone.

He stood there crying until mom finally came for him and since then he'd never forgotten about it. Elician grew up separated from the other kids and it made him socially unavailable. Not like he didn't like it when people talk to him he would love that but he didn't get that chance because no one really liked him.

Elician quickly wiped the tear that was developing in his eyes. He shut his eyes tightly, preventing the tears from consuming him. "I am not letting my emotions stop me from experiencing this adventure."

Mom: Do you like this trip?

Elician: Mom, thank you so much for making my dream come true.. I am so proud of you..

Mom hugged him tightly saying: "Aww honey we both know that If we didn't stea…l" She paused. "I mean if we both didn't act smartly we would have still been sleeping under that roof."

Elician didn't like it when his mom mentioned that they stole the money. He didn't steal it, he took it forcefully which sounded the same anyway but he managed to force a wry smile so his mom wouldn't feel bad for trying to start a conversation with him.

He would never steal something on purpose. He would do that to punish a sinner but he wouldn't dare do that.

Elician: Wow! mom look at that building, I never thought Melocayda was this beautiful, it's so amazing.

He stared at a large building as the chariot raced past it.

Mom: Is the palace building honey.

Elician: wow!!! I have never seen a building this beautiful before.

Mom: Really?

Elician: This is Heaven

Mom: Trust me, where we are going is ten times better than the palace.

Elician's lips curved into a small smile.

Elician: I cannot wait to get there. I will have my own room, a new bed, a new set of plates, new friends…

He stopped when he realized something, moving meant that everything about his life was going to change right? Well Elician wasn't that ready.

Elician: Mom, we are moving to a town full of children like me, right?

Mom: Um actually, it's a City full of all kinds of people.

Elician: Mom, I can't stop thinking, how am I ever going to make friends. Will they even like me in the first place??

Mom: Relax son. Relax

Elician: How can I calm down? I am going to be meeting awful people there.

Mom: Oh honey, you don't need to worry about these little things.

Elician didn't know he getting emotional about 'friends'.

Elician: Little things? You call these little things. Not having friends is not anything you should wish for me….why am I even arguing this with you… You don't even have any friends!!!

He regretted the moment those words escaped his lips.

Elician: Mom.mom I didn't mean that..I am sorry…

Mom: Don't ever talk to me, Elician!!!

Elician's whole life was crushed after hearing this. Perhaps his worst nightmares were actually happening today. The happiest day of his life had changed to the worst day of his life within just a few minutes and just a few words caused it.

Elecian sat there thinking.

So he is actually going to be lonely for the rest of his life. He sat there face buried in his palm while he cursed himself for letting his anger take control over him. He wished for the seat to just eat him up or maybe time should rewind so that he could prevent that from happening but it was too late.

" hehe" A loud laughter could be heard from inside the carriage. Elician wasn't sure about the one laughing. Could it be his mother laughing?? No it cannot be. She never laughs, not to mention that loud. Then suddenly a hand formed around his shoulders and it started pulling him in until he felt mom's hot breaths on his face.

Elician: Mom, you are not angry at me?

Mom: Never. I was just joking with you, okay don't you worry and also (She gently lifted his Chin) You look so innocent whenever you are sad. You look like a pure angel whenever something is hurting you inside.

Let me tell you this; I am your mother and no matter what happens or no matter what you do against me I will always Love you.

Elician was dumbstruck hearing this. Was all this just a prank? He had been thinking alot lately. He didn't even notice when they passed the large dark forest.

Elician: Mom, you just gave me a heart attack.

A smile suddenly appeared on his face."Mom, where are we going again?"
