The man who spoke up sat leisurely on a pile of rubble. The other six gathered around him while blocking the exit.
The man who just walked in, Lamiatt, smirked when he saw this. He replied,
“The country is huge, and there were beautiful sites to see… I got carried away on my way here.”
Lamiatt said smirking.
The man in the lead frowned,
“We don’t have time for your needless trips when we have a problem that’s slowly getting out of hand.”
“We wouldn’t have had a problem if someone didn’t lose the Lock.”
Lamiatt replied, causing one of those surrounding him to grunt angrily.
He replied Lamiatt’s taunt,
“That’s no excuse for lateness. That is utter disregard for your superior and it will not be tolerated.”
Hearing this, Lamiatt looked at him and smiled, replying,
“So you’re the one who lost it. You should have known better than to leave it in the hands of someone so incompetent.”
Lamiatt’s words triggered the man into action as he took big strides toward him,
