Çhapter 100: Into the unknown

Chapter 100: Into the Unknown

The light faded, and Anita, Jace, and Kael found themselves standing on a floating island suspended in an endless void. The sky above was an expanse of swirling stars, streaks of light weaving intricate patterns that shifted and pulsed like a living tapestry.

“What is this place?” Kael asked, his voice hushed as he stared at the stars.

“The Threads of Fate,” Anita murmured. She could feel the power coursing through the air, ancient and unyielding. “This must be where they converge. The Keeper said the fractures are disrupting them.”

Jace knelt by the edge of the island, peering into the void below. “So, what’s the plan? Just find these fractures and patch them up? Sounds simple enough.”

“It’s never that simple,” Kael replied, his hand instinctively resting on his sword. “And if this is as dangerous as the Keeper implied, we’re going to need more than brute force to get through it.”
