Kingsly sat on the sofa in the living room, looking at the parenting book she had just been reading.
She approached the sofa and said gently, "Kingsly, I made some egg-fried rice. It should taste good."
Kingsly nodded slightly and then patted the spot beside him, signaling her to sit down.
