After failing to become a Tama-Artist, a group of people who wield Rei to control mystical jewels known as Tama, Lucien "Lucy" bitterly lost his mother to the "kyuketsuki" left in her by his father. He planned to seek revenge against those who made his mother's life a living hell. 

However, an unfortunate incident led to his death, and he ended up in the first Yōkai no Mon theater, where he gained power at a terrible cost. 

Lucy's actions become increasingly malevolent, but the unexpected news of his long-lost daughter forces Lucy to reexamine his actions.

What happens when a Tama cracks? It can only utilize half its power and drains three times the amount of Rei needed.

Consequently, Tama-Artists only use cracked Tama in dire situations, especially when they lack the funds to afford the Katsuragi clan's Tatara furnace.

The Tatara furnace was a gift to the Daimyo of the Katsuragi Clan on her thousandth birthday, and no one knows how long it was, from a blacksmith from the Great Continents who appreciated her life - such is the contrasts of life, where some people prioritize the rich and old while neglecting the young and poor struggling on the streets.

Anyways, the Tatara furnace can not only repair cracked Tama and materials but also fuse Tama, creating brand new Tama never seen before.

Surprisingly, there are no limitations to the types of Tama that can be fused. However, this only amplifies the Katsuragi clan's power over the entire island.
