The Soul Awaiting Life

My name is Kuro—no surname, no family, just a graduate student haunted by a dark past. I swore to leave it all behind, to move forward, no matter how heavy the weight of my memories.



Our story began during a campus trip by bus. What was supposed to be an ordinary journey turned into a nightmare. We survived the crash, but survival came with a price. A woman, someone from my past who should have been dead, appeared. I thought I’d left those shadows behind, but she proved me wrong, taking her revenge on everyone in sight.



When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a completely white room, surrounded by my classmates. Relief washed over us at first, thinking we had somehow survived again. But the truth was cruel—we were dead.



Then, a goddess appeared. She offered us a new chance—a chance to live in a world of swords and magic. A world where strength and bonds mattered, and where I could finally discover what it meant to have a real family.
