Yin Kai and Ying Lin'er finally got dressed. Reaching for his belt, Yin Kai finally began to assess the room. Aside from the furnace, there were several scrolls documenting various refining methods. On the left were several pill flames.
"Yin'er, are you an alchemist?"
"No."
"Would you like to be?"
She looked at him with stars in her eyes.
"I'm planning to join the Alchemist's Guild soon. It's nearby your Fire Palace, maybe you could stop by?"
With this, he nudged her.
She nodded blindly.
"It's a deal! Then, I'll hold onto them until you rejoin me. What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine. It's a win both ways!"
With this, he massaged her nipple. "See you in the future!"
With that, he yoinked and kissed her deeply. With a whoosh of air, he disappeared.
Several moments later, the unconscious Ling Yin awoke with a start. Massaging her shoulder, she tried stretching her legs and promptly fell to the floor.
"Did he just take all and take off?" Yin'er grumbled into the empty hall. Turning around, she checked the shelves.
"At least he has somewhat conscious-minded." She added before grabbing a crystalline cylinder from the shelf.
Opening it, she began to refine the Purple Yin Flame- marked 7th on the list of Earth Flames.
To Alchemists and martial culitvators alike, there were five types of flames.
Pill Flames and Martial Flames were the internal flames respective to martial cultivators and alchemists. The cultivators would refine them over time, linking them to the use of their respective cultivation arts.
As such, the flames would grow alongside their inner dao.
Earth Flames were formed naturally over time by heaven and earth, and often found in underground caves. The location the flame was formed in determined its strength.
On the other hand, Heaven Flames were formed by Lightning- the more powerful the strike, the more powerful the flame.
Beast Flames were the internal flames of various monster beasts. Windy Flame Salamander, Fierce Flame Wolf, Annhilation Dragon, Vermillion Bird…
Yin Kai disappeared into the cave system. The evil cultivator's alchemy inheritance was fairly straightforward.
After learning around 257 pill recipes, he converted the pill flame techniques to the poison dao.
He then spent the majority of his time building the "Soul Sealing Poison Pill Method" before closing himself up in the giant hall.
Yin Kai began to run the way from which he came.
He could process his returns later, right now he needed to see if there was anything else useful hidden inside the inheritance space.
He finally reached the position in which he started. Continuing further, Yin Kai walked until he reached another dead-end.
This time, however, a small pinpoint of light came down from the ceiling.
Yin Kai slowly opened the whole wider. He didn't want someone to hear him.
Sensing nothing in his surroundings, he climbed through. He was on a cliff made of rocks overlooking a beach of a small sea.
Since Ling Yin'er was still inside the tunnel, he covered up the tunnel with some of the nearby rocks before leaving.
He heard cultivators fighting above him.
Sneaking carefully, he avoided the loose rocks around him.
Once he reached the top, he saw the fighters' strength. 8 Qi Fusion realm disciples from Frozen Sea Palace were fighting alongside one of their disciples- a 1st stage Immortal Opening realm cultivator.
Knowing that they had a huge bounty against him, Yin Kai immediately attacked them. The group that they were attacking all smiled.
The majority of them were from the Soul Gathering Armor Sect, with two cultivators from the Blood Seeking Sect and one from the Martial Fist Temple.
The core disciple from the Frozen Sea Palace was evenly matched with another core disciple from the Soul Gathering Armor Sect.
In fact, all of the were quite evenly matched.
To make the battle faster, Yin Kai hit the weakest link first- a cultivator in the late qi gathering realm.
With the thousand cut, pointless wave method, he began to send out small waves of kukhri qi from the side of the area.
They began to strike into the frozen sea palace cultivators, rendering the soul armor cultivators a chance to gang up on their enemies.
In short time, the core disciple was the only one left. He fired blast after blast of ice qi towards the other core disciple, but the soul gathering armor had a kind of heat that was joined to its movement.
As the core disciple turned to run, Yin Kai pulled up from behind. With a cross block of his kukhri he stopped the cultivator's sword.
Due to their difference in cultivation, he staggered to his knees. But with a simple slash he slit the core disciple's balls. Then, turning, he nicked through his throat.
As the Frozen Sea Palace core disciple fell down, Yin Kai stared at the remaining core disciple from the Soul-Gathering Armor Sect.
"So, how should we divvy the spoils?"
