It was the weekend. During breakfast with the Jiang Family in the morning, Father Jiang said to Jiang Yining, "This afternoon, at Yun Du Club, I've arranged a meeting for you. Go and take a look."
Jiang Yining sighed silently, took a sip of porridge, and reluctantly said, "Dad, the New Year is coming soon. Can we pause for now and talk about it after the holiday?"
"The New Year doesn't interfere with blind dates," Father Jiang said solemnly.
Jiang Yining rolled her eyes in displeasure. "Look at the people you've introduced me to. Each one worse than the last. Didn't you say you'd find someone better than the He Family? These people can't even compare to our family."
Father Jiang put down his chopsticks and said with some frustration, "The last two introductions were my oversight. But finding someone better than the He Family is indeed difficult; the people we know are all roughly on par with us."
