Jasper Brown's expression paused slightly, his tone lax.
"Are you tired of life being too monotonous, thinking a few more kids would liven things up?"
"People still want to be a dad these days? You don't happen to have any hidden illnesses, do you?" Charlton Lincoln mocked.
Jasper Brown glanced at him indifferently, his eyes landing on Sienna Summers's face.
"Last night, did it feel good?"
Did it feel good?
Images of the man overpowering her, his strong and forceful advances, uncontrollably flashed through Sienna's mind.
Suddenly, her cheeks burned hot.
She suppressed her fluctuating heartbeat and feigned calmness.
"Um, you were great."
"So, marrying me, you will be very sexually satisfied."
Sienna's heart raced again.
She glanced at Charlton Lincoln, whose face was gradually becoming uglier, and the gloom in her heart swept away.
"Yes, we will be very happy!"
Sienna did not delay any further, packed up her things, and left the villa with Jasper Brown.
Charlton Lincoln watched their car drive away, his face extremely ugly.
The man even drove a Bentley!
Did Sienna really go off to marry him?
Why couldn't he believe it?
A used-up woman, how could any man want her?
There must be something wrong with that man!
Maybe, he's gay?
To placate his family's pressure to marry, he found a woman just for show!
It must be so!
Otherwise, there's no explanation!
Charlton Lincoln comforted himself with these thoughts, and suddenly felt relieved.
In the car.
"Mummy, did Uncle Caleb bother you again?" the second sister asked in her milky voice.
"Mummy wasn't bullied," Sienna said with a smile.
"Mhm, with new daddy here, Mummy definitely won't let Uncle Caleb bully anymore!"
The third sister clenched her little fists.
Sienna glanced at Jasper Brown in the driver's seat, feeling grateful for his protection back in the villa.
"Thank you for just now."
Jasper Brown tapped the steering wheel lightly with his slender fingers.
"Such good taste!"
He was mocking Sienna's bad choice in men.
Sienna chuckled, it wasn't her bad taste, just that some men were too good at pretending.
"Excellent women always meet a few jerks when they're young."
She was quite good at consoling herself.
Jasper Brown looked at her, "Do you still like him?"
Sienna scoffed lightly, "Do I look like a fool?"
A despicable and shameless man, how love-struck must she be to still have feelings for him?
Jasper Brown's gaze sharpened, since she didn't like him, why did she still ask Charlton Lincoln whom he liked more?
The car continued on, arriving at the Civil Affairs Bureau.
With the three children waiting in the car, Jasper Brown and Sienna went in to queue for their marriage certificate.
After completing a series of procedures, they had their red books in hand.
Sienna still couldn't believe it.
She had just broken off an engagement, and now she had married a man she had only met twice?
"How much longer are you going to look?"
A man's deep, magnetic voice came next to her ear.
Sienna snapped back to reality and put away the red books.
"I haven't asked you yet, why were you in room 1802 last night?"
Jasper Brown's eyes flickered as he told a lie.
"Poly Hotel is owned by the Brown Clan. Last night I was entertaining my boss, and someone gave up their room to him. He had to leave early for some reason, so I stayed instead."
So that was it!
Sienna did not doubt it.
A cold voice reached her ears.
"You should thank me, if it wasn't for me, last night's ordeal, you would have just had to grit your teeth and swallow it."
A sting pricked at Sienna's heart.
Yes, she really should thank him.
Although she was not sure why this man wanted to marry her,
at least his presence spared her some humiliation.
Inside the car, three little ones were glued to the window.
"Hehe, Mommy and Uncle Fox are getting married, we have a new daddy now."
"We are not children without a daddy anymore."
The two little girls were overjoyed.
"Big brother, can we call Uncle Fox 'daddy' now?"
Zach Summers furrowed his brow slightly, "Not yet."
"Why not?"
"Because Mommy hasn't fallen for him yet, what if she thinks Uncle Fox isn't good and wants to separate?"
So they couldn't change how they addressed him yet, they needed to let the relationship between the two stabilize first.
"Uncle Fox is so handsome, how could Mommy not like him?"
"Yes, I like the handsome Uncle Fox."
The two little girls started speaking up.
Zach Summers felt like he couldn't communicate with his intellectually questionable sisters.
"Mommy isn't as boy-crazy as you two. Just remember, we can't change how we address him yet."
The two little girls looked clearly disappointed.
But the constraint of bloodlines made them obediently listen to their brother.
Soon, Jasper Brown and Sienna Summers got in the car.
The car slowly moved off, and the two little chatterboxes spoke again.
"Uncle Fox, are we going to your house now?"
"Uncle Fox, are we going to live together from now on?"
Jasper Brown curled his lips into a slight smile, "Yes, from now on we'll live together."
Before long, the car drove into a high-end complex called Riverside Garden.
Jasper Brown parked the car and took them up to the 17th floor in the elevator.
After pressing the fingerprint lock, they entered the apartment.
It was a three-bedroom, two-living room house, approximately 160-170 square meters.
The decor was understated yet luxurious.
Everywhere you looked spoke of a quality life.
The three children curiously toured the inside.
A flash of surprise crossed Sienna Summers' eyes.
"Is this your house?"
This was a high-end complex in Seacity.
The environment and facilities were quite good.
The average price was over forty thousand per square meter.
He, a mere assistant, earned enough to afford a house here?
"It's rented."
Jasper Brown uttered the lie coolly.
This was the most ordinary property he owned.
He had just had his assistant clean it up.
Sienna Summers thought this was more reasonable.
"So how much is the rent per month?"
Jasper Brown glanced at her, "What's up?"
"Since we're married now, as a member of the household, I should share part of the rent."
She wanted to contribute to the rent?
Jasper Brown raised an eyebrow slightly, intentionally saying, "It's over ten thousand a month, you sure you want to share it with me?"
So expensive!
Sienna Summers gasped, tentatively saying, "The rent is a bit pricey, should we rent a cheaper place to live?"
Jasper Brown said, "You want to lower my living standard as soon as you arrive? That's not why I got married."
Clearly, this man knew how to enjoy life.
Living alone, he rented such a big house.
Sienna Summers bit her lip, "Then I'll give you five thousand each month."
She couldn't afford more than that, she still had three children to support!
Jasper Brown took another look at her.
"Five thousand a month? Do you have a job now?"
He recalled that the records showed Sienna Summers hadn't graduated from college because of an unplanned pregnancy and had been idle at home with the children since.
Sienna Summers looked down, her long eyelashes trembling slightly.
"Although I don't have a formal job, I usually take on some freelance jewelry design work, and I still have some income each month."
She had studied design in college.
If it hadn't been for the incident four years ago, she would probably be working as a jewelry designer at some big company now.
