Sienna Summers had been in a state of nerve-wracking tension ever since Jasper Brown had brought her to the hotel.
She thought she might have misunderstood him again.
So, she felt a bit annoyed and a bit embarrassed.
Now, hearing his careless words, her face flushed with embarrassment immediately.
Fortunately, his voice was very low, so nobody else heard him.
So, she pretended to calm herself and changed the subject.
"Did you run into Ciara Summers? I don't know how she ended up here, and she seemed to be in bad shape?"
Jasper Brown didn't bite on her change of subject but asked, "Do you believe me now, or do you want to keep watching? What if I return?"
Facing his teasing gaze, Sienna just wanted to quickly move on.
"I believe you. Let's go; I have to get to work."
Jasper Brown chuckled lightly, grabbed Sienna's hand which was pulling him, and they left the hotel and got into the car.
