Chapter 336: He's Like a Joke

Sienna Summers gently touched Eleanor's little head and said softly, "Go play now."

Eleanor responded with a cheerful acknowledgement and toddled away on her tiny legs.

Sienna watched her daughter leave before turning to Benjamin Brown, her expression cooling noticeably.

"Second Brother, don't you think it's despicable to exploit a child's trust just to lure me here?"

Benjamin fixed his gaze on her. "Cecilia, I just wanted to talk to you alone. If I hadn't made Eleanor the messenger, would you have agreed to meet me privately?"

Hearing him still call her Cecilia, Sienna was too tired to correct him again.

Benjamin had always been stubbornly persistent.

He was hellbent on competing with Jasper Brown!

Sienna fell silent for a moment before asking, "What do you want to say?"

Benjamin asked, "I heard from Jacob that you're planning to resign. Is that true?"

"Yes," she replied.

"Why?"
