Edward Harper furrowed his brows, "Do you enjoy comparing yourself to her?"
"When your husband is seeking a divorce to be with his sister-in-law, who wouldn't want to compare?"
Edward's expression changed slightly, his long legs taking a step forward, blocking Clara Knox at the elevator corner.
"What did you just say?"
Clara's eyelid twitched as she looked up to meet his gaze, "Didn't I get it right? The wife's sister is called the sister-in-law, isn't she?"
Edward's throat bobbed slightly as he asked again, "Repeat the first two words you said earlier."
Clara's face flushed for a moment, thinking how this shameless man was still trying to take advantage of her. Just then, the elevator opened.
"Could you move, please? This is my floor."
Edward glanced at the numbers on the elevator wall, his lips parting slightly, "Sorry, this isn't my floor yet."
Clara was left speechless, "I said this is my floor, let me out."
Edward responded with an indifferent tone, "Go ahead, then."
