Chapter 111: Don't Believe She Would Do That

Edward Harper tossed and turned in bed for half the night before finally coming to a conclusion: he was suffering from insomnia.

He found the sleeping pills that the housekeeper had given him last time and took one before heading to the study to sleep for the night.

The next day, he was woken up by a phone call.

"Director Harper, there's trouble."

Liam Johnson was trembling on the other end of the line.

"What's the matter? Speak."

"Last night, Swan Company contacted me. The Perseverance Necklace, which is our main push for the new season on our website, looks almost identical to the design Swan Company is about to launch, Lolly's piece. Fortunately, Swan hasn't released the final product, but they have the prototype sketches, and I've compared them. It's really hard to prove our originality."

Lolly is practically a god in the design world, and for our designs to look like hers, no one would suspect Lolly of plagiarism. They'd think we copied her.
