Chapter 303: That's What Dad Did

Edward Harper squinted his eyes and resisted the urge to speak,

"If you keep laughing, I might as well change doctors."

It was then the old doctor finally got serious,

"Tell me, I've given you such a strong dose of advice before and it didn't cure your chronic issue, what happened recently that suddenly made it better? Anything special?"

Edward Harper honestly confessed,

"I found her in another city. She didn't leave this world four years ago. Luckily, she survived."

The old doctor slapped his thigh,

"There you go, that's great. Why bother coming to see this old man then? That girl is more effective than any treatment plan, she's the antidote to your illness."

Edward Harper fell silent,

"It is effective. Now I hardly have any hallucinations, but I often shake uncontrollably, feel panicky, and break into sweats at night, especially when she ignores me during the day, it's unbearable."
