Chapter 40: Anyone Who Likes Scarlett Jennings Is Up To No Good

Emma White and Timothy Garrison rushed to the hospital after receiving the call, just as Isolde Garrison and Lydia Patterson were wheeled out of the operating room.

Isolde had suffered fractures in both legs and a mild concussion.

Lydia was in better condition, having only broken one arm, the same arm Isolde had clung to earlier.

What was incredible was that the drivers, who should have borne the brunt of the head-on collision, only sustained minor injuries, merely requiring some medication and bandages with no need for hospitalization.

Emma, however, couldn't spare a thought for the driver. Seeing Isolde lying pale on the hospital bed, her heart ached, and tears welled up in her eyes. Her already weakened body swayed suddenly, but fortunately, a nurse nearby supported her promptly.
