"Today you learned a lesson. The world doesn't revolve around you; not everyone will tolerate your tantrums."
Master Shaw gazed heavily at Clara Shaw, hoping she would take heed from this incident.
However, to his disappointment, Clara not only showed no remorse but instead wore an expression full of venom.
"It's just a small favor. Why wouldn't Serena Summers help me? Is she feeling guilty?"
"I knew she and Edward Selwyn couldn't possibly be so innocent! Isn't having our cousin enough? Why does she have to compete with me?"
"Clara Shaw! Looks like the slap yesterday was too light. Get out of here now!"
Master Shaw was furious, pointing toward the door to order her out.
"Grandpa, I'm your real granddaughter! Why are you always siding with Serena?"
Clara's eyes welled with tears as she looked at Master Shaw, her gaze full of accusation.
Master Shaw's gaze remained cold as he looked at her. "Because she deserves it."
