On the other side, the car drove into a villa community and stopped in front of the central villa.

Brandon Reese was the first to get out of the car and opened the back door. "Sir, Madam, we're here."

Adrian Holt allowed Serena Summers to hold his hand as they walked inside, his gaze sweeping over the villa's courtyard.

Behind the herb field lay an artificial lake with crystal-clear water. Occasionally, koi swam leisurely, while the rustling of trees by the lakeside added to the serenity.

The place exuded an indescribable sense of leisurely peace.

Serena pointed to the herb field and explained, "I planted all these myself. The glasshouse beside it—I had someone set it aside and tidy it up. I usually spend most of my time there."
