Bo Yunshen and Gu Jinyan walked out just as they brushed past Xu Lin, whose phone suddenly rang.

Bo Yunshen glanced down and happened to see the caller ID on Xu Lin's phone.

Born from a prestigious family, some things were second nature to him. The number on Xu Lin's phone screen was familiar to Bo Yunshen.

It was indeed the landline number of the Tong City Police Station.

The man's eyes deepened instantly, as if that glance was merely casual.

A new Japanese restaurant with good reviews had recently opened opposite Bo Group. Bo Yunshen and Gu Jinyan walked over.

Bo Yunshen had been there a few times and was a member of the restaurant; they were greeted by the waiter and ushered into a private room as soon as they entered.

While waiting for their meal, Gu Jinyan took a pack of cigarettes from his suit pocket, pulled one out, and offered it to Bo Yunshen, who waved it away. Gu Jinyan, not insisting, played with the cigarette in his hand.
