Chapter 17 Divorced, Disaster Strikes

They spent the night peacefully in the same bedroom.

As soon as the Civil Affairs Bureau opened early in the morning, Julia Land and Noah Quarter went in to sign the divorce papers.

A laughable arranged marriage had come to an unsatisfactory conclusion.

"Remember not to let it slip in front of Grandma," Noah warned, "we're now going to pick up Grandma from the hospital."

"This warning should be for you to heed yourself, you should restrain yourself around Arabella Shaw outside, after all, she's a big star and attracts media attention."

She retorted sarcastically.

Noah glanced at her with his cold eyes and stopped talking to her.

The pride that Julia maintained was shattered the moment she received a call from Mrs. Grace Land.

"Mom."

"You still know I'm your mom? When did you get married to your boss? And you've been keeping it from the family! Bring your husband home tomorrow, let's have dinner together."

Grace Land spoke with great dissatisfaction.
