Arabella Shaw bore the pain and spoke softly, "I'm fine, Eliza, please have someone take me to the hospital."
Noah Quarter knelt on one knee, looked at Arabella's swollen ankle, stood up, and lifted her in his arms, "I'll take you."
With pitiful eyes, Arabella shook her head and pleaded, "Don't, if you leave the banquet tonight, my grandmother will blame me."
"At a time like this, who cares about the banquet? Let Miss Land handle it herself," Eliza scoffed.
Julia Land pretended not to see, too disinterested in their affectionate exchanges, she spoke coldly, "Miss Shaw grabbed my arm herself when I wanted to leave. She fell on her own; what has it got to do with me? Anyway, I did not push her deliberately."
She tried to leave after speaking.
Noah Quarter looked coldly at Julia, "Whether you pushed her or not, you've hurt someone; you should apologize."
"Apologize? What if I refuse?" Julia smirked provocatively, her beauty marked by defiance as if no one could bring her down.
