MCSDB Chapter 85 Real Powerhouse Part 1

The others resumed their training, while Jiang Chen approached Master Roshi.

"Aspara, I heard you went to space a few years ago. Are there many powerful martial artists in the universe?" Master Roshi asked, his tone cheerful and filled with curiosity.

At Kame House.

Jiang Chen and Master Roshi engaged in a lively discussion.

They exchanged insights on martial arts, with Jiang Chen incorporating what he had learned on Planet Yardrat. He now felt qualified to converse with the old master on the subject.

It wasn't until dusk that Jiang Chen took his leave from Kame House.

He had to admit that Master Roshi's understanding of martial arts had reached an impressive level, and even now, Jiang Chen gained valuable insights from their discussion.

In terms of martial arts alone, Master Roshi could probably rank among the top ten in Universe 7.

"Whoosh!"

His figure vanished.

Watching Jiang Chen depart, Master Roshi sighed, "He's getting stronger!"

Then, excitement lit up his face as he glanced at the small package Jiang Chen had left behind.

Slowly, he pulled out a book.

Soon, strange laughter echoed throughout Kame House.

Of course, at that moment, Jiang Chen was unaware of this. His figure left Kame House and arrived at Goku's location.

Under the fading light.

Below, two figures were busy working.

"Goku, what are you doing?" Bulma's dissatisfied voice rang out.

"Okay, okay, I'm coming!" Goku's voice chimed in.

Seeing the cheerful scene below, Jiang Chen couldn't help but smile.

"Is the adventure of Dragon Ball about to begin?" He murmured softly, his gaze drifting to the distant package, which clanked with movement, before vanishing once more.

He had no intention of interfering in Goku's adventures.

Although the current story had shifted significantly.

Even without a scouter, with his ability to sense Ki, Jiang Chen could tell that Goku's energy had already surpassed seven thousand.

Compared to the original story, where he only had a few dozen points of battle power, it was an entirely different scale.

If the original tale could barely be considered an adventure, then for him now, it felt more like a leisurely outing.

But this was to be expected.

With Raditz's arrival and the addition of enhanced training methods, Goku's battle power would inevitably evolve.

His figure quietly disappeared, unnoticed by Goku.

In the following days.

Jiang Chen visited Korin again, trading two baskets of fish for a small jar of Senzu Beans, bringing his total to over four thousand beans.

With so many Senzu Beans, he felt secure about most challenges, except for the viral heart disease.

Mount Paozu.

Jiang Chen's figure returned once more.

After enjoying a warm meal prepared by Gine, he retreated to his room.

"The next step should be the Saiyan God or Super Saiyan."

In his room, Jiang Chen murmured to himself, deep in thought.

Being in the Dragon Ball world and possessing a Saiyan identity was undoubtedly perplexing for other Saiyans, but for Jiang Chen, the path ahead was quite clear.

However, clarity didn't equate to ease in traversing that path.

To transform into a Super Saiyan, a base battle power of three million was almost a necessity. After all, the reason one could become a Super Saiyan was that the S-cells in their body had to be abundant enough, reaching a certain threshold.

The external manifestation of this was battle power; achieving a base battle power of three million meant the S-cells had reached the required level for transformation. Conversely, if the S-cells hadn't reached a certain point, it would be impossible to attain three million battle power.

But right now, his battle power was only close to fifty thousand. Achieving three million wasn't something that could be accomplished through short-term training; it seemed he could only wait for time.

He was only sixteen years old, and he still had a few years before reaching the true explosive growth period of a Saiyan. Even with the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, it would be challenging to reach that level quickly (the Hyperbolic Time Chamber could only be used for two days unless one had Super Saiyan 3 level power).

As for the latter, it required five Saiyans with righteous hearts.

Currently, the only one who could meet that requirement was probably Goku; even Raditz was unlikely.

"Maybe I can give it a try!"

As his thoughts flowed, Jiang Chen couldn't help but consider the Saiyans he had brought along.

For others, cultivating a righteous heart was challenging, but for someone familiar with the story like Jiang Chen, it didn't seem too difficult.

Moreover, compared to the three million base requirement for Super Saiyan, the Saiyan God was the best option he could achieve in a short time.

As his thoughts continued to flow, Jiang Chen's ideas gradually took shape.

The Saiyan God is revered as the "Savior of the Saiyans," a divine figure among their kind. Its essence lies in amplifying the Ki within the body, which then transcends into the Domain of the Gods, manifesting as divine Ki. This legendary existence is shrouded in mystery, with only Shenron possessing the knowledge of the Saiyan God's true nature.

As someone well-versed in the Dragon Ball lore, Jiang Chen naturally understands the concept of the Super Saiyan God.

He even knows the complete transformation process.

When compared to the Super Saiyan, the Saiyan God is indeed the quickest path to transformation at this moment.

After all, the Super Saiyan transformation is limited by the S-cells, while the Saiyan God has no such restrictions.

It merely requires five Saiyans with righteous hearts, in addition to himself.

The real challenge lies in finding five others among the current Saiyans who possess righteous hearts.

At present, the only one who meets this criterion is likely Son Goku, who has always lived on Earth; Raditz doesn't even qualify.

Although the Namekian Elder stated that Raditz's heart is leaning toward righteousness, that only indicates he is on the path, not that he currently possesses a righteous heart.

As for the other Saiyans, none of them meet this requirement.

Whether it's the four members from Bardock's Squad or Nappa, even Gine doesn't qualify.

While Gine lacks an evil heart, it would be inaccurate to claim she has a righteous one.

For most, this situation would seem like a deadlock.

After all, a righteous heart isn't something you can simply wish for in others.

But for Jiang Chen, it's a different story.

With Vegeta as an example, the concept of a righteous heart is certainly achievable. After all, if Vegeta can do it, there's no reason Bardock's Squad or Raditz can't.

The only question is how to make it happen andeven this is not a significant problem for him.
