Cooper Coldson left, and Richard Reyes soon came.
Yolanda Greenwood stayed by the lakeside with Old Master Coldson for a while before deciding it was time to head back.
On the way home, Old Master Coldson seemed listless, a stark contrast to his earlier excitement.
"Grandpa," Yolanda deliberately tried to cheer him up, "today was truly a blessing thanks to you. I haven't had this much fun in ages."
Old Master Coldson turned to look at her, his face filled with affection, "Really happy?"
Yolanda nodded earnestly.
In the past year, she hadn't even had a day out, let alone a relaxed meal sitting together with Cooper.
"Even when that rascal left halfway?" Old Master Coldson became increasingly irritated the more he thought about it, and his tone grew much harsher.
"It's okay." Yolanda tugged at the corner of her mouth, "Sometimes, the outcome isn't so important. As long as I've enjoyed the journey, I'm satisfied."
