Finally together.

Donan opened the door, exhausted from another day of work at his father's companies, and what he found made him stop. The room, once simple and functional, had been transformed. Tiny lights hung delicately from the ceiling, casting a soft, golden glow over the space. Flowers were placed at strategic points, releasing a subtle fragrance, while a table in the corner displayed light drinks and carefully prepared snacks. At the center of it all was Luna.

She wore a dress unlike anything Donan had ever seen her in. The fabric flowed with ease, as if it moved with her every motion, while the cut accentuated her femininity with an alluring elegance, never vulgar. Her hair was loose, framing her blushing face. She seemed nervous, her hands hesitating slightly, as if debating whether to adjust the dress or hide something.

Donan blinked, surprised and speechless, but it was Luna who broke the silence, her voice carrying a mix of shyness and resolve:

"Happy birthday, Donan."

He took a step forward, still in disbelief, as if standing before a dream he feared to shatter with a sudden movement.

"Luna... all this... you did this for me?" His voice faltered slightly, and he looked away, trying to hide the emotion swelling in his chest.

She nodded, a small smile playing at her lips.

"Today is your day. And you deserve more than this. You deserve to feel how special you are... how incredible you've become."

They moved closer, and Donan gently took her hand, noticing how warm and trembling it was. He laughed softly, more to ease the tension he felt.

"I don't know what to say."

Luna smiled, this time more confidently.

"Then don't say anything. Just enjoy the night."

She guided him to the table, where they talked for hours. Time seemed suspended as they shared stories, memories, and laughter. Yet, there was something else in the air. Something unspoken, but deeply understood by both.

As the lights dimmed even further, Luna stood up, and with a gaze filled with expectation and vulnerability, approached Donan. He stood as well, unsure of what to do, but her look held him in place.

"Donan..." Luna began, her voice soft, almost a whisper. "Today isn't just your birthday. It's the day I want you to know how much you mean to me."

He stared at her, and for a moment, it felt as though the whole world had disappeared, leaving only the two of them there. Then, carefully, he cupped her face in his hands.

"You don't have to say anything, Luna. I know. And I feel the same."

The kiss that followed was not merely an act of passion. It was a promise. A total and unconditional surrender, where every touch was filled with respect, where every sigh was a declaration of trust. There was no rush, only the certainty that this moment was unique and true.

That night, Luna and Donan connected in a way that transcended words or gestures. They became more than companions; they became partners, accomplices in a journey that promised never to fall into monotony.

When the night came to an end, Luna rested beside him, and Donan, with a serene smile, whispered:

"Thank you for believing in me... and for teaching me to believe in us."

Luna simply smiled, her hands intertwined with his, a symbol of the union they had built, brick by brick, just like the home they now called their own.
