Yeah, the lively street, made it impossible that demons invaded them. But...

The disciples that left the Wangshou academy, both group held up the feeling of responsibility except for one fidgeting fool. The lady was far behind them and she was among the group to fend off the Demons and save the people below the mountains.

Surprisingly, this lady wasn't Zhao Wenli although she, Wenli would swore she would do anything to stay back. But that doesn't mean she wants to be called dumb when she worked hard with cold sweats to climb the top as one of the best in London and China as a whole.

Since she could be brave and strong when in medical school, she's sure to take this one like a medical exam she took before her call to the medical profession.

She was surprised that a lady would fidget when she was the most fearful of them all.

She paused and looked behind seeming to wait for her to catch up. "Are you okay?" Zhao Wenli asked as soon as the lady came up to her.

"I guess so..." Her voice trembled

Agh!!! This lady is trying to scare her up.

"You shouldn't be scared you're trying to scare me too " Zhao Wenli stated.

"You're scared too?" The lady asked looking at her surprised that she looked almost like the fearless goddess of the sea.

Zhao Wenli looked at her not knowing what to make out of her expression, so, she ended up asking "whst are you called?"

"I'm XiMei. I'm Peng XiMei"

"I'm Zhao Wenli, hope we get along well together in this..."

XiMei interrupted her with an exciting grin on her face.

XiMei seem to want to say something but was interrupted by a handsome visage.

"Going down the mountains will take us a day and maybe half of the next day. We should be able to stop by and understand the situation better, to know what we're facing" he explained as though they were in some sort of a lecture room.

Zhao Wenli found that expression of his as a lecturer's aura, and she couldn't help but direct him as such.

"Teacher LuPeng, I suppose we should be able to eat in order to battle with the unknown" she added.

LuPeng was surprised when he heard her call him 'teacher'. He should be the one to address her as such. Having a blue Phoenix was similar to that of the purple Phoenix, though, people didn't know why she never wanted to continue, and disappeared from the world leaving everyone with thought that are yet true and untold.

But he doesn't have the strength to ask the reason for that polite yet, unworthy address.

"Sure, let's head down first. None of us have expertised in sword mounting, and the horses might slow us down, but let's try our best and hurry down the mountains, okay?" As he said this, he rushed to the horses provided.

How Zhao Wenli and Peng XiMei got the knowledge of how the horse were there, they didn't know, and they wouldn't ask LuPeng either cause it'll be too much of a dumb question to ask.

As expected, they got below the mountains in a day, arriving the next day, almost evening. The food vendors were still buzzing around calling customers to come and try out their foods.

The street looked lively even as darkness was growing nearer.

"As busy as China" she said to the hearing of her partners.

They looked at her confused, but Wenli really had no time to explain just like she explained to Hualia the day she used English for the first time in this world of cultivation. Let them think whatever they want. She decided it's best that way than to find some useless excuse that she wouldn't deem it useful if she were in their shoes.

The street was so busy that XiMei has to say "I thought these people are attacked by demons, it's amusing how they could so lively and keen to earn a living even when death is at their doorstep"

Wenli also nodded in agreement. "Yeah, the lively street made it impossible that demons invaded them" she also voiced.

"You're right, but we should also put in mind that, this will be our first fight with demons and we're not backing out either " LuPeng said. The last one was an evidence that he took was scared but tried to mask it since he was the only male in the group.

"As expected, teacher LuPeng is right " Wenli noted.

They went to the nearby restaurant to get a room, then, come down to eat.

"Three rooms please"LuPeng said hands inside his lapels to bring out the money pouch he kept there.

"I'm sorry young master and mistresses, but our rooms are filled. Only one room is available" the young man at the counter answered trying not to offend the group that looked like god and goddess that descended to pick a bride and grooms.

"Okay," LuPeng said and put back the money pouch back inside his lapels.

He turned to them as they understood what those eyes meant.

In truth, Zhao Wenli wasn't concerned if the three of them shared the room. She really needed to settle, eat, meditate and look for somewhere isolated and learn her showmanship but she was worried for the latter that kept holding her right arm, without letting go.

The second and third place they went were the same or even drunkards that hoved around the ladies without the fear or maybe, ignorant that they held power. Or they thought them weak, as they think of the women in their city.

Although they were dressed in their academy's uniform, that doesn't mean that those men knew them or probably, from the things she heard from XiMei during their journey down the mountains, she realized that it was rarely seen or heard that the Wangshou academy pupils, came down. It was always their masters who wore different clothes designs from the pupils that came down instead.

The last they found had three rooms like they wanted. LuPeng paid for the rooms, while a slender female of about, maybe, three to four years older than XiMei.

"This way" they were led into a room that was only divided into three equal part with. With only one reading table, and a three set of teacups and a kettle for tea.

The lady left after she showed them the room.

"Well, at least it's better than nothing. " Zhao Wenli sighed tired.

"But..."

"XiMei, no need to worry, we all know that we have no strength to walk around looking for a room with better designs. Let's just manage this okay?" Zhao Wenli shut her up with a loud sigh.

"I'll order some food" LuPeng said heading to the door.

"That'll be unwise, teacher LuPeng" Wenli snapped almost making him stagger.

"How so?"

"Let's eat downstairs. Lots of gossips we don't want to miss" XiMei said with her lips curled up at the sound of gossips.

LuPeng understood. Then, I'll head to the male's bathing suite. You can head to the lady's.

Since three people had to share the room, there's no space for a bathtub. The room was already compacted enough to add a bathtub. So, they decided to use the ones made for the public. Which wasn't new to them all, Wenli supposed.
