Chapter 045: Crazy Reporter

"Stab me with it, the faster the better!" Ezaki Kitazawa said calmly. 

But there was no other way. To gain experience for his Healing Quirk and make it evolve, this was the only method. 

Because the Healing Quirk only gained experience when healing injuries on his own body. 

"No... that doesn't feel right," Toga Himiko hesitated, holding the knife. 

"If you don't stab me, I'll stab you!" Ezaki Kitazawa threatened. 

Sure enough, Toga Himiko was startled by his words. She tightened her grip on the knife, walked over, and warned him. 

"You told me to do it, so don't blame me!" 

"Swish!" 

The knife stabbed into Ezaki Kitazawa's stomach. But when it was pulled out, only a small amount of blood was left, and the wound started healing at a visible speed. 

Toga Himiko stood frozen, staring in shock. 

"What... What's going on? The wound is healing?" she asked, astonished. 

"Keep going!" 

"Oh... okay!" 

Toga Himiko, seeing that there was no harm, calmed down and her speed increased. 

After about four hours, Ezaki Kitazawa was exhausted, gasping for breath. Toga Himiko, on the other hand, had been complaining about being hungry for the last half hour. 

"Stop!" Ezaki Kitazawa said in a deep voice. 

Toga Himiko quickly stopped, blinking her eyes and looking at him. 

"I'm hungry!" she said. 

Ezaki Kitazawa lay on the ground, panting heavily. 

"Give me a minute to catch my breath, and I'll make you something to eat..." 

"Okay!" Toga Himiko nodded excitedly. 

After finishing everything, when Ezaki Kitazawa dragged his tired body back to his bed, it was already nearly 1 AM. 

He opened his personal stats panel and quickly checked the results of his hard work today.

"At this rate, if I keep working like today, I'll have enough experience points in just one more day, and then I'll be able to evolve my Quirk and get even stronger Healing abilities," Ezaki Kitazawa muttered to himself. 

He then closed the panel. After the evening's Healing training, he was completely exhausted and didn't want to do anything else. He just wanted to rest. 

The next morning, as usual, Ezaki grabbed his backpack and headed to U.A. 

However, that morning was a bit different. A group of reporters was gathered outside U.A., but Ezaki didn't know why they were there. 

Ezaki thought about avoiding them, but he was spotted, and the reporters quickly surrounded him like hungry wolves. 

In an instant, dozens of questions were thrown at him. 

"Hello, student! We heard All Might is now teaching at U.A. Could you tell us what his classes are like?" 

"Can you describe what it's like to see the symbol of peace standing at the podium?" another reporter asked. 

"What do you think of All Might as a teacher?"

Over the next few moments, they asked more than 10 questions, all focused on All Might. 

Ezaki Kitazawa frowned and then calmly said, "Do you really want to know?" 

"Yes!" 

The reporters nodded eagerly. 

"I'm not telling you!" Ezaki Kitazawa responded. 

"Huh????" 

The reporters looked at him, speechless. 

"Come on, just tell us a little! Just one thing!" 

"Yeah, just one answer, and you're good." 

"We'll put you on the cover!" 

"We'll even give you the spotlight! Imagine this—you're practically unknown right now." 

"As long as the news is big, we'll give you the headline, your picture at the top, and your name will be stuck in the minds of the people. Even if you're not a professional hero yet, you'll still be famous." 

"Student, this is a huge opportunity!" 

"That's right! We'll give you the same treatment as the other two said, but only if the news is big. Of course, it doesn't have to be about All Might." 

"You guys really have no shame, he's just a student!" 

Soon, the reporters began arguing with each other. Ezaki Kitazawa furrowed his brow, realizing it was best to leave quickly. 

"Um… with such tempting conditions, you can leave them for someone else. I don't need them," Ezaki Kitazawa said in a low voice.
