Shreya The Phoenix

The red stone began releasing some kind of energy into Kenji's cold body, and as it did that, it began to lose its own luster of life, as it's red colour was leaving.

Inside of Kenji's state of consiousness, he was surrounded by nothing more than the infinite chill of darkness," is this death?" He wondered, 'cause it didn't seem as bad as he had expected.

Boom!

Suddenly the space began shaking and quacking, as it rumbled violently, making Kenii occasionally fall down.

As he fell, he decided to stay on the ground till this death earthquake would stop, before he got back up.

Soon rather than later, the rumbling ended and Kenji got up, but was suprised to see a bright red light floating right in front of him.

Through the light, he was able to see his own words through the eyes of his dead body.

He moved closer, going closer to the light. But then he was stopped!

There was some kind of large barrier that was holding him away from reaching the red light which he so badly wants to reach.

" Go back!" A voice called out, causing Kenji to close his ears tightly, as the voice was incredibly loud.

" Who's there?" Kenji said, taking a step back out if fear of who else would be in his dead state of consiousness.

" Go back!" The voice said once more," you are now dead, so fall into slumber and let your soul be reaped from you, holding onto it is useless," The voice added.

" I can't let my sould be reaped just like that. I still want to be alive and so please....let me go!" Kenji exclaimed with a pleading look in his eyes.

" I am sorry, but that is not for me to do," said the voice," only death can do such a thing. And only a Phoenix can go back without death allowing him,"

Kenji looked disheartened as he heard those words. So he really was dead and would have no choice but to wait for his soul to be reaped and be taken to the after life.

Why?!!

Why did it had to be him. He was warned and he didn't take the warnings of everyone, and now see the state that he was in now; waiting for death.

But as his spirit of ever getting back to life began to drift away from him, he heard the sound of a cry!

Crooo!!

A huge bird thousands of times the size of an actual bird. Flames were brimming from the body of the beast, as it scoured the space for one soul; Phoenix!!

An actual Phoenix, one told only in legends and stories of old is now standing here right in front of him after he had died.

" Two lives!" The Phoenix said coldly to Kneji," after I help you now, you shall have only two lives left," it said authoritively.

" Phoenix, you come into Nirvana and think you can take any sould away? Impossible!" The voice from before said.

And suddenly, an old man on a flying mat suddenly appeared with his hands in the form of a prayer, as he looked down with his blue chilly eyes in contempt.

" Old man Vana, this is my function. I shall take him back to his place in the world, and there is nothing you can do to stop me," The Phoenix said, her voice screeching with power and resolve.

" You cannot do that. He must wait for death!" The old man said, as he pushed on of his palm forward and suddenly, an avatar of his palm suddenly appeared above their heads and came crashing down!

The Phoenix didn't show fear in her eyes as she saw the palm about to fall on them. She just made a cold stare and flew up into the sky, heading straight for the falling palm!

And in a second, she burned the avatar down with her immortal fire.

The old man had a shocked expression on his face as he saw that. The skill he had just used was one of his top three strongest sure to the fact that he knew it was a phoenix he was about to battle with and not a regular human. So he had decided to go all out, but was shocked to realize that the bird had burnt through his skill without dripping a sweat!

" You may leave," the old man said solemnly, as he looked to the ground. He knew that this battle was going to be one-sided if he continues, so it was batter to still keep some face and just let them leave.

The Phoenix then went back down and signaled for Kenji to climb onto her back, but he hesitated a bit.

I mean she was literally burning of immortal fire, so what will happen if he sits on her, he would become burnt marshmallow!

" Don't worry, it's safe," she said with a soft smile, as if knowing what he was thinking.

Taking in a deep breath, Ethan decided to obey, and he climed on.

Suprisingly, it wasn't hot like he thought it was, on the contrary, it was quite cool, like he was sitting on top of cool ice.

" Before you leave, know this..," the old man said, as the Phoenix opened her wings," as you leave this place with him, death and the others will come after him to real his soul, and when that happens, you won't be able to save him," he added with a solemn exppression.

" You'd be shocked by what will happen when that happens," the Phoenix said in response, as he flew off the ground and went straight into the portal.

" We shall see when the time comes. Yes, we shall see," said the old man as he dissapeared.

" Who are you and why did you help me?" Kenji asked in a perplexed manner to the Phoenix.

" My name is Shreya, and I came from the red stone that you always carry along. As for why I helped you come back to life, it's so that you can help me," she said in response.

" Help you with what, if you don't know, I'm a very weak individual," Kenji said disheartedly. He seemed sad by his own words.

" I want you to help me with my daughter; Sphinx, and trust me , you're stronger than you think," Shreya said with a wide grin.

" I highly doubtful that. But what about your daughter, how can I help you with her?" Kenji asked inquisitively.

" I want you to marry her. Marry my daughter,"
