My Seoul Sun

I was finally able to get a shuteye after all the thinking. But I guess it didn’t last long.

A sudden buzz, followed by a beep on my phone had speedily awoken me from my slumber. But the nauseous feeling of being suddenly awaken had made it a little difficult for me to respond.

I sluggishly sat on my bed, smeared my eyes with my hand, stretched out before turning to the bed side drawer.

Unknown number?

But before I could pick up the phone, it had stopped ringing.

The time on my phone had signified that I had slept for an hour and thirty minutes. A little sleep time for someone who took her daily health schedule seriously on days she wasn’t parting out.

I noticed a message on my phone, and as I was about to read it, my phone rang again, now sitting in my hands.

Who would be calling me at 6:30 in the morning? I tried to figure it out but no one came to mind, as I nonchalantly picked up the call.

“Hello?!”
